I was very curious when I saw this product as the idea of a snap together rake was something I had never considered. The plastic rake I had been using for a couple of years broke this year and so the idea of getting a solid steel one was very appealing. I have to say that I am quite surprised at both the sturdiness of this rake and how its snap-together design makes it very easy to customize for different use cases. At its full length, it basically works like any other rake. I haven't tried it on heavy dirt or clay, but considering how solid the end tines are, I full expect it would stand up to heavy use. But what is great is that you can take some of the segments off to make the rake shorter. This would be great for those who want to get their kids involved in chores around the house, but also make it useful as more of a hand rake. And the segments do feel strong enough like they would stand up to heavy use. Overall, I'm very happy with this as a garden tool. And it definitely makes it easy to take with you in case you want to go somewhere (like a parent's house) to help out with yard work and can't fit a full size rake in your car. If you're looking for a well-priced, sturdy, and versatile garden tool, this one definitely fits the bill.

Wasn't sure what to expect at when it was ordered but I am pleasantly surprised. The handle comes in multiple pieces and very simple instructions. Once piece came bent so I had to fix that to assemble the handle. All very easy to figure out. The rake tool is very durable. It is heavy duty and withstands everything I've been using it for which included raking hot coals out of a burn pile. The plastic part at the top of the handle keeps slipping off during use, so that will have to be glued. I am impressed with this item. The handle length is adjustable, could use as a hand rake in the garden. The quality is good for the money spent.

Despite having a ton of sections this rake feels solid and does not have much give. It's definitely not as strong as a solid one, but should do fine for general purpose dirt leveling and such. It is stainless, but the snaps and rake are not, so probably should not be stored in the rain. My only big issue is the snaps to hold the sections together hit your hands while your using it. I regularly move my hands up and down the handle as I adjust where I am raking...your hands or gloves snag on these and it's annoying. Really would have been better to be just a few longer sections than a ton of short ones for this reason.

This rake is surprisingly sturdy for being made up of so many individual sections. The pieces click together securely with no wiggling once it’s assembled. The collapsible design would be absolutely perfect for car or rv camping (it is way too heavy for a backpacker). It seems strong enough to be an everyday around the house rake as well. The only thing that is a minor annoyance is that the attachment pegs do stick out a bit, which somewhat limits where on the rake you can hold it comfortably. If you need a portable/storable rake, or one that is size adjustable, the trade off is worth it. The handle seems to be made of unpainted steel, so hopefully it won’t rust over time. The low price makes it worthwhile to give it a try—and the all metal construction means that if it fails over time, at least it will be recyclable.

This is a heavy-duty, sturdy, and strong garden rake. The rake comes with three extensions, each about 11 inches long, that click into place solidly. With all extensions added, the rake is about 6 feet long. The handle of the rake has a hole for hanging when not in use. The rake head is made of a nice, hard alloy that looks very clean. Although I haven't tested the claimed rustproof properties, I'm pretty sure it won't rust based on the materials used. As it's heavy-duty, it's a little heavier than other wooden-handled rakes. However, its solid construction ensures it will last a very long time.

It might have taken me only about a minute to assemble, but I was very pleased with the weight and quality of the rake. It seems durable, but only time can tell. It works well for the tasks I need it for. This rake is awesome!

This rake really sturdy even though its made up of so many individual sections. The pieces click together securely with no wiggling once it’s assembled. I thought it would be a problem but it didn't affect its use whatsoever. I like that you can disassemble it for easier transport. I was raking gravel as well as dirt and it held up well. At this price point it is well worth the money.

no installation guide. I might be not good at this but it is hard to put together - just not intuitive i had to spend 10 minutes figuring out how to put together one. It is also quite heavy but i guess it speaks to its quality.
