This is a really high-quality product, especially at this price point it's very impressive. Proper care is critical. You need to wash with warm water, and I would recommend getting a good foaming toy cleaner, works better than just soap although you can alternate between both for a nice clean. I actually got a little pump action douche that I could fill with water and pump so it just douches out the inside with low effort You need to let this thing *DRY* and it needs to be somewhere that it can get ventilation (air flow). Do not take it while it's damp and shove it in your drawer or in the back of your closet because you're trying to hide it. If it's holding moisture and can't it ventilate in the back of your dark musty closet, yes you will get problems. You need to buy a drying stick and leave it in there overnight after you let it ventilate
