These arrived in perfect condition with the base strapped to the packaging. They require a little but of assembly and tinkering with to get them looking how you want. Once assembling they look beautiful. I have these in a room that does not have any natural lighting. From about 6-7 feet I've had most people ask me how I keep them alive. They look real from that distance, it's not until you're much closer that you can see that they're artificial. These produce no odors.

I will preface this review with admitting I am not very adept or familiar with artificial plants/trees so cannot do any comparisons except for cost because I at least HAVE looked at artif. while shopping at various home goods stores. I was pleasantly surprised at the weight of the trees (got the salian type) and also how solid the small rocks at the top of the pot (around the base) are! I do plan on keeping these on my deck for the summer but am not going to worry about tying them to the deck post so we'll see how that goes. The trees came securely boxed and this particular type had the leaves already in the branches so all I had to do was the shaping. Each individual leaf is very stiff but is easily manipulated to my liking, as were the stalk parts. For thirty-five dollars each I feel these trees are a great value, especially given the small details that add to the quality.

Maybe if you had these decorated from far away they would look nice, but they look pretty fake. They are also extremely lightweight and will blow over almost immediately when put outside. I did buy a bigger pot and filled it with stone and they still occasionaly blow over. Bigger pot needs to have a thicker/ bigger base.

I actually got it for my duaghter as a housewarming gift, and she loves them! These plants are perfect for her house since she's a busy Nurse working Mom of a 5 year old with Special Needs, who also has a cat and a puppy. These plants are perfect because not only do they not require any care, they also cannot cause any harm to the child or the pets! So you CAN have it all - cute plants, without the mess, stress or trouble! These are really pretty, and I would absolutely give them as a gift again - or even get them for myself!

I believe that these were advertised as being 48" tall, and they're very much not. The plant bases are weighted, so they're not going to fall down easily. It has a small pot with the fake stems stuck in it, and then it comes with leaves that you have to put on yourself. It's not that much work to stick the leaves on, and you can move them around a bit, but I am concerned about how long they'll stay attached. I would put this into a bigger pot to give this a little more gravitas and height.

The fiddle fig trees are amazing. For one their leaves look extremely real, even close when you’re looking at it they look like real fiddle fig leaves. I also like that it comes with two for the price of one. It’s such a good deal, considering their height, and the fact that you get two of them. There’s a lot of attention to detail besides, the leaves, though, for example, the stems and branches look like real wood. One of my favorite features, though is the pebbles that are glued to the bottom of each plant. I’m glad that if the plant were to get knocked over the pebbles wouldn’t go flying anywhere. And it’s a nice touch that makes them look even more real. Pros The fiddle fig leaves look very real. The base is sturdy. It comes with pebbles on the base You get two for the price of one Cons None

It does need a bit of arranging after being unpackaged, but it looks natural and is an excellent addition to my patio. I am extremely pleased and find it an excellent value for the cost.
