I bought this 5.25FT metal garden trellis in black to place next to my garden bed and I am really happy with it. I am using it for my beans, karela, and cucumber vines and it is working out perfectly. The height is just right and gives my climbing plants plenty of room to grow vertically without taking up much floor space. The iron pipe construction feels sturdy and solid and I love that it works both right in my garden bed. It blends in beautifully with my garden setup and looks much more expensive than it is. Assembly was straightforward and it stayed firmly in place once I got it set up. The lattice should help vines weave through naturally and my plants should have no problem climbing it well. Whether you are growing vegetables, ivy, or decorative flowers this trellis gets the job done. Would definitely buy again and recommend to any gardener looking for a reliable and attractive climbing support!

I was amazed at the small box this trellis came in. This was more of an assembly project than I would expect for a trellis. Each of the 4 poles comes in 4 sections that need to be screwed together with caps on either end. A couple of the pole sections did not screw tightly together and had about a 1/4 inch of slip where it couldn't be tightened. I am not sure what material the metal pole sections are made from... possibly cast aluminum that has been painted black. Considering the multiple pieces that need to be assembled, the instructions were clear and this was assembled in under 10 minutes. The listing kept making a point of mentioning "metal", but this is NOT a full metal trellis. The pole sections are metal, the pole caps and rectangular "mesh" trellis sections are all plastic. I would not say this is sturdy. This is more decorative than sturdy. This might be fine for peas, beans, morning glories, and other light weight vining things, but I would not use this for a heavier rose bush, or expect it to hold cucumbers or heavier vegetables. I do not know how well the plastic panels will hold up after being out in the elements, but would expect them to warp or become brittle over time. There is a spool of coated wire included to use for tying up climbing vines. This is comparable to the ties you would find on a bread bag, and not something I would use for delicate vines. I'm disappointed at the ill fitting, multi-piece construction, and plastic panels. It is not as sturdy as I would like for use. I consider this trellis more decorative than use for heavy plant support. I do not feel this is a good value.

I removed one star due to incorrect description of item. The lattice parts of plastic are not made of metal as outlines in the description. Putting that aside, it's a nice looking lattice. The plastic is quite thick and I am not worried that it will hold up the cucumber vines I plan on running up them. The metal posts seem strong. It was easy to put together and the poles tightened up securely. It was listed for $36 when I ordered it. Seems like a pretty good price. I hope it lasts more than one season. The desert can be a little rough on plastic items. Will update my review if my expectations aren't met.

So I just wanted to start off by saying that I only gave it 3 stars because its not a true metal trellis. The poles are metal but the panels are plastic and I am not sure how they are gonna hold up once the vines start growing. I wanted to use this for cucumbers but now that the panels are plastic I will probably use this for something lighter like peas or beans. The trellis was very easy to put together and did come with instructions. The different parts are all separated so there is no guessing when putting together. The plastic panels are easy to snap onto the poles and can be placed anywhere you want. If you need to unsnap them just gently pull and they easily come off. The trellis went into the ground easily also. I am not sure how its gonna hold up once my veggies start growing up the trellis however I will probably move it into the middle of one of my beds and grow vegetables in the front and behind to balance the weight out. This could also be used for climbing flowers . I am excited to try it out and hopefully it holds up.

The garden trellis is 33 x 65 inches. It was easy to put together. The poles are made of iron and screw into each other to make four rods. A few of the end pieces didn’t screw in correctly. They would continue to turn and didn’t catch completely into the other piece. The panels are made of thick plastic. The panels snap tightly onto the poles and help with the sturdiness of the trellis. You insert a pointed cap at the bottom of the poles and finials at the top of the poles to complete the look. I like the look of the trellis. It seems sturdy. I can’t wait to fill my raised garden beds in a few weeks and see my melon vines growing up the trellis.
