These little stars are so bright and I love that you can change the way they blink. These deserve 5 stars for looks which is their main purpose. I do think the way they attach to the stakes could be better. Exactly what I was looking for as far as visibility. I even purchased a second strand.

The 20 LED Waterproof 4th of July Solar Pathway Lights with 8 Lighting Modes are easy to set up. They can be used as hanging lights or they can used for pathway lights, the stakes for which are included. There are 20 LED lights, that are covered with 7 red, 7 blue, and 6 white pebbled plastic stars, that make me feel nostalgic of decorations from my childhood. Each light is five watts, the star size is approximately 2.5 inches, and the set has 8 lighting modes. The lighting modes are as follows: steady, slow glo, combination, wave, sequential, slow fade, chasing/flash and twinkle/flash. The 20 LED Waterproof 4th of July Solar Pathway Lights with 8 Lighting Modes are powered by a solar panel, which has a stake for placing it in the ground and Mode and ON/OFF buttons on the back. The amount of time the lights stay in the evening, depend upon the amount of light they received during the day. However, I found that if they took full sun during the day, they were still on when I went to bed at 1 or 2 in the morning. Overall, The 20 LED Waterproof 4th of July Solar Pathway Lights with 8 Lighting Modes are nice Fourth of July lights. I love the fact they have 8 lighting modes and the fact I can use them as hanging or pathway lights. They are big enough to make an impact, but small enough that they are easy to store.
