  • Awesome batteries that lasts 31 minutes on my Maxx!
Style: 2x 14.8V 6500mAh TR
So I bought 2 of these batteries for my XRT Ultimate and still waiting for the XRT to arrive so I used it on my Maxx. It fits extemely tight and a little hard to remove but man... I ran my Maxx with this battery for 31 minutes until the Maxx lost some power to bring the truck in to charge the battery. On top of that, it's only $68 for 2 or $34 each!!! Just have to really wiggle the battery to remove from the Maxx without pulling from the wires. My new go to brand for LiPo batteries! ... show more

  • Wow!
Style: 2x 14.8V 6500mAh TR
I Just bought these batteries. I cannot give them a long-term review yet. I bought them for one of the First X-Maxx Trucks to hit the scene. I had all the shock and aw of the first days of this truck when it was fresh out (sat brand new for years due to life). I had a 50%-50% success with Traxxas batteries and I spent a ton of money to get started, before I had to store my X-Maxx. Wow! Like all of the good reviews say...These things RIP! I almost flipped backwards like how another reviewer claimed. This company did their homework! I was afraid that the original tires would explode after sitting for years. The truck performed better than NEW! I immediately purchased a second set. Torque increased, speed, and I am satisfied with not even using my speed gear to hit higher straight-line speeds! The batteries are smaller. I used the extra foam to make them more stable, but I think That they will stay in there without the extra support. They charge with Traxxas charging systems for the 8's 6700 battery, no money wasted to get another charger, but you must use the app to get'em going. I was excited and it brought back the old feeling of when I purchased the 8's when it first came out. I have a few old Traxxas batteries, and they have dead cells and one of them is still alive and I MIGHT!...... MIGHT! buy another just to compliment the old one and run them as backups for long run days. 90 bucks for 2 batteries verses up to 160 bucks for one Traxxas battery! Easy decision. No cutting, no modifying, no YouTube. Charge them and plug them in and then RRRRRRUN! Hopefully I will give a long-term review. ... show more

  • Cost effective & punchy batteries
Style: 2x 14.8V 6500mAh TR
I’ve never heard of this business before, but I read the reviews and became curiously interested. I ultimately purchased a set of 6500mAh 4s Lipo batteries for my X-maxx 8s. My X-maxx is moderately modified. I’ve upgraded to a Hobbywing Max6 ESC, 20/50 gearing, 7.4v Powerhobby (soon to be Savox 2290sgs wp) servo and Duratrax Six Pack wheels/tires. With these batteries, I can do standing backflips (altho unintentionally at first), and they last over 45mins. I’ve yet to hit the Low Voltage Cutoff with these. I’m not a hard basher, but I definitely get on the throttle often and in bursts. No swelling in the 2 months I’ve had em. Now fast fwd 2 months, and I recently had an issue with one of the batteries. One of the cells wasn’t balancing (-.4volts), so I got in contact with the business via Amazon Cust Svc. Socokin reps were responsive and service oriented! I sent a photo of the failed cell (screenshot from charger), and without issue, they sent a replacement! When a business stands by their product so firmly, I’m inclined to refer their business to my friends! ... show more

  • Great alternitive so far
Style: 2x 14.8V 6500mAh TR
Ran for about 5 cycles now with my Traxxis XRT and i can't say exactly how long I get per charge but it feels like easily 20mins maybe more and I do full speed street passes nearly the entire tire. The only downside is that since they are not Traxxis brand they dont work with the app to provide feedback with remaining charge and speed etc. @ 1c charge rate they are done charging and balancing within 55-65 min which seems fast. I hope these things last as long as a name brand would. 75% savings over the comparible Traxxis batteries is amazing. Hoping to save up and get a second pair of these so I can double my driving session times. I kept the TRX connectors these came with and they seem to be great quality. all wires are soft and flexible which I like because they flex easily and go where they need to without the feeling that you arre forcing them or overstraining them. Thank you seller for fast and secure shipping. Seller 5 stars and product 4.5. ... show more
