I don't wear necklaces often - once a week at the most. I do not have dexterity issues, and I've never had a problem fastening necklaces behind my neck. The only difficulty I have at the moment is a chronically sore shoulder, but it's still functional. Point being, I don't necessarily need these, but they are still amazing. They seem to be pretty high quality. I installed and tested 4 or 5 immediately, and now I can't wait until it's time to wear a necklace again. They are a bit chunky and a bit hefty. I have one very delicate necklace that the clasp was too small to fit over the loop of the converter. No biggie. I don't know if the weight will make the clasp spin around to the front more readily, and I frankly don't care. I did have a little moment of chaos in my jewelry box which has a door with a metal closure that attracted several of the converters at once, but I think that was just because I had several necklaces out at once. These might make things easier for younger fingers that aren't quite coordinated yet, but I'm willing to bet they're a game changer for those with arthritis or other dexterity issues. I'm very glad I got the 8-pack so that I can just leave them on the necklaces permanently. I just remembered that they'll work on bracelets, too. Maybe 8 wasn't enough after all. Haha.

When you have long fingernails, it's harder to put on and take off necklaces, so these clasps and closures were exactly what I needed! I have a couple necklaces that hold a small amount of cremains of loved ones that I wear most of the time and these work great on both of them. They are very easy to add to the necklaces and makes it SUPER easy to put the necklaces on. Time will tell if they tarnish or fade, but so far I'm very happy with them.

The magnet seems pretty strong and these are great for any necklaces with smaller clasps that are not too heavy. The two halves just snap together magnetically without having to fumble with tiny clasps. I did try one on a bracelet and it didn't go very well. The clasp increases the length which made it easier to catch on something. It did get caught and I did not realize the clasp let go until I saw the bracelet fall. It might work better if you have a bracelet that is too short. It would make it longer without making it too big so it hangs down. For myself, I will use it on some of my necklaces, but I will not trust it on a bracelet. The clasps are made well and have good size attachments which accommodate larger jewelry clasps. The color is good on both the silver and gold. I like them, but I would recommend trying the clasp out in your home first to be sure it will stay secured. That way if your jewelry happens to catch and come unclasped, you won't lose it.

Ideal for anyone tired of fussing with tiny clasps, like people with really short nails, hand-pain, elders, busy people, anyone, really! I wish all jewelry automatically came with these things, they are SO useful! Exactly as it looks in the official images! There is only one side with the circular clasp, the other is a smaller circle - this caused a problem with taking them out of their bag, since a larger clasp got smushed against a short circle and stuck, but I got them apart eventually! - so it's clear which side the clasp of your jewelry should go on, and which should get the claw. These are VERY SMALL, even among clasp extenders, nearly invisible, so these will fit best with those really delicate, thin, necklace chains. The magnets are strong enough to cause a swallowing hazard for children, but they're not strong enough to carry a whole lotta weight, so they will work best with JUST the light-weight dainty necklaces.

I have used magnetic clasps on necklaces and bracelets due to the difficulty of putting on & taking off jewelry with arthritic fingers & hard to open clasps. These are the best magnetic clasps that I have ever used. The magnets are small yet very strong. It was very quick & easy to connect to my necklaces. The clasp end of the magnetic converter clips onto the closure end of the necklace… and the clasp end of the necklace connects to the closure end of the magnetic converter. I wore a necklace to bed all night with these and it never came off. I have used other brands that are difficult to attach, too big, and not powerful enough magnets to keep jewelry on with barely moving around. However, THESE are keepers! I definitely recommend these.
