I was going to give it 4 stars but these features can be a make or break thing for someone looking to use this for streaming. 1. The cord needs to be longer. 10ft at least. Or come with chord length options. I want to be able to move the camera, have it high, and still have my pc behind me in view of the camera. 2. It shows the red spots in my skin more than I like. So some paired software to be able to adjust the color balance would be nice. 3. Works best in a bright well lit room. Picture quality goes down quite a bit when in medium to low lighting. Again, software to adjust would be nice. 4. Camer has a non adjustable wide angle. I guess you could adjust in your streaming application if it has that ability. But if you're normal video chatting, there's no way to cut down the camera width. TLDR: Picture quality is perfect only in studio lighting. Unforgiving to uneven or blemished skin. Camera so wide everyone can see your business plus some. Adjustment software is necessary but not included. ... show more

I got this webcam for various meetings, classes, and recordings. The 4k caught my eye, however, the quality is lacking for how the webcam was advertised. The picture is grainy and auto focus is broken, and it doesn't come with configuration software like some other webcams have, so there isn't a way to troubleshoot it. I tried using it through OBS, Nvidia Broadcast, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, and the regular Camera app on Windows 11, and this was consistent through all of this software, including OBS, which receives nothing but the raw input from the camera. I tried viewing it on both my monitors and my 4k TV, so the poor, grainy quality is consistent across all 3 screens. Color quality is also dull and pale, but I won't complain too much about that since it wasn't advertised to have superb color in the images, videos, and live streams it captures. However, it does function fairly well as a low-cost HD webcam. The microphone that's built-in is clear, the tripod is durable, and the setup is painless as it's just plug-and-play. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone set on 4k, but it does function fairly well for a simple webcam and seems to hold up fairly well in terms of durability and longevity. ... show more

So I previously reviewed this product and gave it only 1 star and returned the product because the picture was awful: the image was very blurry and of just really poor quality. Then the company contacted me and said it had to be a defective unit and asked if I was willing to try another one "for free" which I did. Edited to add: Customer support reached out to me and I received excellent and caring support. They have replaced my camera and I am quite happy about that. I liked the camera so much when I initially bought it that I had my employer order the same one for me to use at work when they were replacing my webcam. My home camera started acting up and I use it waaayyy less. So, needless to say that I was very happy with the excellent and pleasant customer support. What I like about this camera is the tracking auto focus. I also like that it actually is not wide angle. I hated that everyone could see my entire room. If you want a wide-angle lens this isn't for you. Its not the widest, nor is it the most narrow either. It's a good fit for me. Old review, I left it to highlight why I appreciate the customer support that I received from the company Depstech because I really did like the camera: I would have given it five starts but in this past week it has started to malfunction freezing and a white/teal color shows on screen. Turning the camera on and off in like Zoom fixes it but it shouldn't be happening. I've reached out to tech support. If they do not get back to me I'm going to lower the rating. I haven't had this camera for even a year and shouldn't be experiences glitches. I don't even use it daily but certainly weekly. If they fix my issue, I have no problem with a 5 star review. But I can't 5 star anything that stops working prematurely within a years time. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Originally wanted A logi tech WebCam or somthing around that type- but for the time being, I needed something within my price range. It’s definitely a good 4K camera, my computer unfortunately only goes to 1080 P but it looks pretty good quality. It works just got it today but I would recommend if you’re looking for something easy on the pockets, this will work fine. ... show more
