I took a chance and bought this 4K 60Hz 15.3 inch portable monitor. It is recognized as model ADM-156UC, which seems to be sold (manufactured?) by AOSIMON. Yes, you can find it on certain Chinese marketplaces for even less than listed here, but I don't recommend that for a few reasons I'll list..... Upon unboxing, I found it is well made, and includes substantial cables, albeit a bit short. The screen menus are a bit clunky to figure out, but once you do, are simple enough to navigate. The included cover/stand includes multiple viewing angles, and attaches magnetically. It has speakers on the back which are adequate, but not special in any way. It is powered using the bottom left USB-C port. I've run it with several different 15 Watt (5V x 3 Amp) power supples, and all worked fine. More below on running it with a battery pack..... I've used it on several devices, including a 2018 Mac Mini, Raspberry Pi Zero W, 3's and 4's, Chrome Boxes, Beaglebone's, Odroid XU4, and some other lesser known devices. All worked flawlessly. **In fact, I noticed that many devices settled on a horizontal resolution over 4K pixels..... so, *ABOVE* 4K, and did so clearly and looked native. I can verify it works up to and including 60Hz at 4K. I can't verify the claimed 3ms, however - I don't really use it for gaming, but I suspect it would perform well in that capacity. I also picked up a portable battery pack that is 20000mAh, with a 30 Watt USB-C port (5V x 6 Amp), an 18 Watt USB-A QC port (5V x 3.6 Amp) and a second standard USB-A port running at 12 Watts (5V x 2.4 Amp). I can confirm that the battery pack will run this 4K panel AND an RPi / Beaglebone / Odroid / et.al. I've not yet tested the operational time, but I can say it is longer than 30 minutes. YMMV.... Back to that comment about a good reason to pay more for this here on Amazon: an inexpensive 3 or 4 year extended warranty. I went for 4 years, and recommend the same. I did look up this device on that aforementioned Chinese market, to find that this same MFG also makes a version with the same specs *AND* a touch screen. If the seller reads this, I highly recommend selling those here on Amazon. BOTTOM LINE: Save your money, and buy this unit along with the extended warranty. You won't regret it. ....and NO, I am in *no way* associated with the seller. This is my review, I wrote this for free, I bought and paid for my product like all of you. I wanted to like this. Every feature checked off what I needed: 4k, HDR, free sync, USB-C video. The Video over a single USB-c cable worked wonderfully (if your system supports it and you have a usb-c 3.1 gen 2 cable). Great for minimalist cable control in small spaces. Beyond that, this is terrible. Turned on HDR and it breaks. Windows doesn't recognize it and neither does Nvidia, it just looks blown out and horrible. Turned it up to 4k res and it also breaks. Suddenly lines start appearing everywhere and screen tearing ahoy. Freesync... I don't know about Radeon or Intel Iris but Nvidia just says no. There's a 1080p display by another company that looks exactly like this one and it's a better buy. HDR works and better colors overall, USB-C works, no 4k and no freesync so you have to settle but you pay a LOT less. ... show more

# TL;DR This is a bargain monitor that will work in most circumstances after a little bit of tweaking. The HDMI cable it came with did not work at all. The HDR support can be a little flaky, but does work in several scenarios. 4k w/o scaling can be almost too much for a screen this size. The sweet spot seems to be when scaled to ~1440p. The monitor draws ~13W (20V .7A or 5V 2.5A) when active in all cases. Out of the box, the picture is super washed out. Decrease the "black level" and it starts to look normal. # Old Laptop - HDMI Integrated graphics could push 4k@30hz or 1080p@60hz. Windows didn't even prompt for HDR. # Macbook Pro - USB-C 4k@60hz worked great, but there were no HDR options. Mac gives you choice of resolutions. Freesync option is greyed out. Power delivery via a single cable works great. # Macbook Pro - HDMI 4k@60hz worked great, HDR option was available and worked. Always outputs at 4k, but 5 text scaling options were available. # Gaming Desktop (RTX 3080) - HDMI Lots of issues getting this to work. Initially, screen was flickering like crazy and some cables just didn't work. Eventually found that setting the refresh rate to 59.982HZ stabilized everything. Was able to play Avengers at 4k w/HDR and it looked great. # Gaming Desktop (GTX 970) - HDMI Simply worked out of the box, no special configurations or anything. No HDR support, might have been the graphics card (toggle in Windows does nothing). # Xbox One - HDMI Another problematic setup. I have a 4k HDR TV and had to drop the settings to 1080p and no HDR for the monitor to pick it up. After playing with it, the HDR did not work, but I did get 4k and "variable refresh rate (freesync)" to work. ... show more

Amazing picture! Best 4K 15” portable for the price! Works great with my MacBook Pro via USB-C /Tb3. If running it at 1080p you can run it on one USB-C cable and it will provide picture and power on one cable. If running at 4K, you need to have a second USB-C plugged in (into the second port on the monitor) supplying enough power. Either from another USB-C on your laptop or via the included power adapter. Interface is easy to use and has some great features like overdrive. Color and brightness look great out of the box. The included case is solid and fits nice. Built in speakers aren’t the greatest but hey, at least there are some! Overall super happy with this purchase! ... show more

I have this connected to my Mac Mini M1 as a second screen and it works great. I also love that I can take it with me and use with my iPhone or iPad Pro. I haven’t had any problems or issues. I plugged it in and it worked out of the box.

I have (soon to be had) a unit that flickers, perhaps the same one that another reviewer mentioned. Otherwise, it's very sharp every ten seconds. Following up: A replacement has been received. It’s excellent, previous issues are absent. 2* -> 5*.
