  • Very Impressive Heavy Duty Rake
Style: 63"
This rake is absolutely meant for heavy duty work. I have a huge section of my backyard work that I was putting off until this rake arrived. I needed to break up all the dirt and level it all so I could lay down turf. This rake arrives taken apart, but it’s not the flimsy bendable metal you might find in those dog poop scoopers or flimsy broom handles. This is serious real metal that is obviously made to last. I really wasnt expecting to like this rake so much. The front can be used like a regular rake. I used that to break up the chunks of dirt so its easier to rake and level, then I used the back to actually move the dirt. Now I'm a serious rock climber, I spend several hours a day working out. This rake can pull and push more dirt at one time than I have the strength to move. I would frequently have to lift it a little and take less dirt so I could even pull it. This shows how incredibly durable this rake is. One thing I wasnt counting on was the kind of flat part in the middle between the 2 raking sides. That actually worked incredibly well as a tamper type tool. I would rake, then any big dirt clods I could just hit with the middle of the rake and they break up super easily. I finished the leveling really easily and actually quite enjoyed using this rake for it. Yes it does ship broken apart and you have to assemble it, but thats because its absolutely massive when its assembled. Its exactly the size of my other rake. It makes much more sense to break it down for shipping. Just like every other yard tool you'll find online ... show more

  • Good lightweight rake for gardening and flowerbed work.
Style: 63"
This rake is a good, economical addition to your garden shed. The head is two-sided and solid enough for spreading gravel or breaking up dirt. It has a good coating across the entire head surface which should prevent rusting as long as it’s not left outside in the weather. There are easy-to-read instructions for assembly. The handle screws together easily by inserting the four-sections together with the bottom section bolting securely to the head unit with two bolts. I give this a four-star review based on after assembling the handle, it’s not as strong as a regular, solid maple or ash wood handle. The 4-piece metal handle has some bowing, but under light to mid-weight use, it should hold up pretty well. I would exercise caution when using it to break out solid, dry sod or thick weeded sod. For homeowners on a budget, this is a good, economical rake of decent quality for working around your garden or flower beds. ... show more

  • Reliable!
Style: 63"
I’m really impressed with the quality of this rake. The metal tines are strong and durable, making it great for loosening soil, spreading mulch, and even moving small gravel without bending or flexing. It feels much sturdier than many of the lightweight rakes I’ve used before. The adjustable handle is a great feature because you can easily change the length depending on the task, which makes it comfortable to use and helps reduce strain on your back. The handle sections lock together well and feel secure while working. Another thing I like is the wide 17-tine head, which helps cover more ground and makes yard work go faster. It works really well for leveling soil and gathering debris in the garden. Overall, this is a heavy-duty, reliable garden rake that performs exactly as expected. If you’re looking for a durable rake for yard or garden work, this one is a solid choice ... show more

  • Works Great
Style: 63"
We live in a very rural area and also have livestock. A good heavy duty rake is always necessary to drag the holding pens next to our house. This rake is exactly what I needed. It comes disassembled, but was very easy to assemble. The directions were clear and self explanatory. It feels like a high quality rake from the local farm store. I’ve been using it to drag the small field and pull the weeds. It was also helpful for filling in holes my kids had dug. The price is inline with the farm store prices. It’s even better though because it was delivered. I’m a big fan and would buy it again! ... show more

  • Very well made and good long handle
Style: 63"
This rake is so nice, it’s really well made and heavy duty. The head has a good weight to it and is a nice large size. The pole was easy to put together and is very sturdy, it’s also nice and long but you can adjust it to be shorter. The handle stayed together nicely while I was using this take to clear out a garden bed. I expect this to last a good long while, I’m very happy with how well it works and that the handle is strong without. Wing too heavy. This rake is a great value for the quality. ... show more

  • Unreliable pole
Style: 63"
The rake head itself and the tines (prongs) feel sturdy and well-made—solid metal construction that seems capable of handling tougher jobs without bending or breaking easily. The 17-tine design provides good coverage for larger areas, and the bow shape helps with effective leveling and debris collection. Assembly was straightforward, and the overall length reaches a comfortable 63 inches for most users. However, the biggest issue is the handle. It comes in sections with four twist-on connection pieces (threaded couplers) that are supposed to screw together securely. In practice, they loosen way too easily during use—especially when raking denser soil or pulling against resistance. I had to stop multiple times to retighten them, which got frustrating quickly. These connection points feel like clear weak spots and undermine the “heavy duty” claim, as the handle doesn’t stay rigid like a one-piece or better-secured design would. For light to moderate yard work, it might hold up okay if you’re careful, but for anything more demanding, the twisting connections make it unreliable. ... show more
