I would say these are better quality than expected. For that price I expected something a lot harder to hold together. I didn't chip any of the edges on this brand unlike others. And the adorable oversized head is so cute. I'd say great for all ages!! I have used mod podge over it to give it a little stronger hold on some pieces, mainly because my pets keep trying to take off with Harry's glasses. And with Hogwarts, the bridges needed a little stronger connection between the two larger portions. So I did a good coat over it was all put together and it's holding together beautifully. ... show more

The project is nice, but the pieces don't fit as nicely as the pictures show. But it is a very nice object once done. Has nice size too it also.

The Good These were great to kill time on some weeknights where I had nothing going on after work. They were fun and challenging to build and they look really great! The Bad The instructions are a little too unclear for my liking at times and the cardboard used to build them bends/tears a bit too easily. Overall I think they're really fun kits and the results are nice looking, but the instructions could be more clear and the cardboard a bit thicker (or another material could be used!) ... show more

This was faster and much less frustrating than the metal earth models I've done (like Hagrid's motorbike model). It took me less than 6 hours to finish this. This Hogwarts model looks very cool! The image on the box is a digital rendering - not a photo of the actual assembled product. When close up, you can definitely tell some cutting flaws and gaps, but that's to be expected with any model kit like this. The instructions were pretty easy to follow, although the instruction images do not specify all the tabs and holes that need to be joined at each step... It's just a common sense of "line-it-up" that's needed to put this together. I do plan to use an exacto knife to finish some of the cut-outs, and paint to make some of the roof bits and joins look nicer. ... show more
