Very good little engine I bought this kit to convert my son's razor mx350 from electric to gas powered and it delivers. I live on a farm so a lot of grass gravel and dirt for him to mess around and push the limits. He's rode the thing for maybe 10-12 hrs without issue only problem he's has was the clutch wore out going through all this rough terrain. I bought him a heavy duty clutch super cheap and today he took it out for a spin without training wheels and was ripping it.     • Shoddy manufactured parts, and a bad purchase experience overall.
Seller included a normally closed kill switch when a normally open switch is required. Gas tank leaked around the junction of the two halves from lousy plastic injection molding process with no QC. Fuel cutoff valve on the engine by the carburetor leaks like a sieve. Overall a horrible purchase experience. Tried to contact seller first before I typed this review, but Amazon sort of makes that process fuzzy. I want at least the shipping cost credited to my account. If there were minus stars, I'd give a minus 5. Update on product. After installing new hose, clamps, and fuel tank, finally got motor started after checking for spark which broke the wire at the plug cover boot. Had to make a new spark plug wire assembly, but it idled at full speed. Checked the pilot air valve (idle adjust screw) and throttle linkage but engine takes off at max rpms, which engages the rotary clutch and things become dangerous. Pull cord sometimes has strange nasty kick-back. Since I've had to make repairs to fix problems I've never had with any other small engine, I can't return the item. Disgusted with this whole purchase experience. Negative 10 stars. This piece of crap will just go into the trash. Sometimes you get what you pay for. This was one of those times. :( ... show more

    • All there but fragile spark plug boot. Pretty neat or epic.
Pleased with tolerances and compression. Spark plug has to be soldered. Broke immediately. Pull seems okay. No mounting hardware or alignment. Throttle seems fir tiny handlebar diameter. Chain small but all there. Have to do some maker fab to make it work. Put thinking cap on which is half the fun and challenge. Essentials present. Happy. Big wan grin face. Black motor. ... show more

Both my son and I definitely noticed the difference in power and speed. This engine kit arrived quickly, but shipping cost was very high $30. We had to fabricate an engine mounting plate, the fuel tank is really small and the chain was longer than what we needed, but worked great after resizing...! Thank You, Luis... ... show more
