  • Runs great
Color: Black
put in over 200 miles on it now.. havent had any problems at all... im going to upgrade spark plug and rear sprocket.. all the carb upgrades on amazon i seen look like they leak gas according to reviews... so im gonna pass on that... im 180 lbs and getting about 7-10 mph uphill and 20-25 mph on straightaways and maxing out at 25-30 mph downhill... hoping to improve that with the spark plug and sprocket upgrade... been running a 50:1 ratio lucas simi synthetic and premium gas for more power.. . i dont run it over an hour at a time, without waiting 20 to 30 mins for the motor to cool off...so far so good... About assembly and time it took... i took a lot of time and patience and read the book several times it comes with.. took about 4 days working on it on and off during a work week... i keep all parts lubed and oiled regularly... i havent had the chain break yet but i expect it will.. i was able to shorten the chain very very easily by using a hammer and nail and hitting the pin out of the side of the link.. a bit tooo easy.. id like to tell you i figured out all this assembly by myself with basic tools but without the luck of a friend as my neighbor who is a bicycle/mechanic.. things wouldnt have went so well... now that he told me what to do to assemble it and let me borrow tools as needed.. its easy.. without that advice and loan on tools, it wouldnt had went so well.... ... show more

  • Motorized bike assembly.
Color: Black
I was having trouble with a used engine the clutch assembly went bad on me so instead of spending more money from another seller I chose to go ahead and buy a two-cycle kit and I'm thoroughly impressed.

The chain does break, mine did, after 20 minutes riding. And the stock cylinder was flared-out taper at top end about 3/8 inch. That's bad for the rings. in all it definitely needs attention all around.

  • Only buy if you know what your doing, Amateurs beware.
Color: Black
Let me preface this review by saying that I love my new moped and am very happy with the price. $110 bucks, you can't beat that. I am happy about purchasing this kit, but I might have chosen a different, more expensive kit if I knew then what I know now. With that said....this kit has some major issues. This is a list of 4 things you should consider before you buy. 1st and formost, DO NOT purchase this kit if you do not know what your doing! I'm a frequent hoppyist and I am very handy, I have a basic understanding of 2 stroke engines and how they work, I own several, but I STILL had problems with this project. If I had any less knowledge on the subject you would be reading a much different review, and I would not be a happy moped owner. Once again, if you are a newbie to this kind of thing, don't buy this kit. 2nd, the hardware contained in this kit is complete junk. The nuts and bolts strip out so easy it is unfathomable. (Cheap Chinese steel for ya.) I would recommend that anyone purchasing this to replace them, and more importantly I recommend to the people at PannelTech to include attiquite fasteners from the get go. (...come on guys, charge a couple bucks extra and put some decent hardware in the kit.) 3rd, the instructions are garbage. Not all steps are explained, and some of the ones that are explained are incomplete. There are some pictures in the instructions, but it doesn't have pictures of any of the wireing, or anything helpful. The instructions contain absolutely no troubleshooting information, I resorted to YouTube for help and found videos from Bikeberry and British Tech TV extremely helpful. And finally, be prepared to troubleshoot when you get everything put together right and it still doesn't work. The kit really only took me an afternoon to put on my bike correctly, but I spent 2 days trying to figure out why I wasn't getting any spark. I must have inspected the wireing and CDI plug cable 100 times looking for something that I did wrong. In the end it was the fault of PanelTech. The magnito comes preinstalled in the engine block. I made the mistake of assuming that because it was installed in the factory, it must be done correctly. It had a bad ground connection and one of the the washers that was SUPPOSED to be on one of the mounting studs was attached to the magnet and wedged in between the Magnito so well I almost couldn't get it out. The timing was also wrong. So check over everything, even if you didn't install it. Best of luck to any buyers. It's a fun toy if you can get it put together. ... show more

  • Beautiful engine. To bad it won't run.
Color: Black
Thing went together like a dream. Well the wires are a little short but that's more cause the type of bike I got. My frustration is the cdi doesn't work I have no spark. A new one was 20 bucks which is no big deal it works perfectly. Was a little upset that it cost 1/6 of the total cost of the engine. But what ever been waiting 2 weeks to ride this thing the excitement has me not caring. Everything things together ready to rock now I'm not getting any fuel.... some of this may be my fault for being ignorant on my first build, I've built engine blocks from the ground up easier then this thing. Just did a compression test getting half of recommended compression. Long story short cheaper to buy new engine then new rings ... show more
