Don’t second guess yourself. Yes it is easy to assemble. Yes it is extremely stable and sturdy. Yes it is heavy duty. No the drawers do not suck (that was my concern seeing you had to bend and clip them into position). However, if you assemble it correctly and take care in your work, it will work superbly. Also as long as you’re not going to load 300lbs in the drawer or slam them shut like a silverback gorilla, they are sturdy and will work perfectly. I have power tools in one drawer, other filled with sockets and lots of other tools. The price is unbeatable for what you’re seriously getting. Don’t pass on it. They look great, change the appearance of the space while providing optimum storage and work space. The steel is the right thickness, it does not feel cheap at all. The metal, the screws and clips all are nice also, there was thought put into this. Someone obviously got tired of seeing nice looking full size functional sturdy workbenches for outrageous prices and made this. You won’t be disappointed. You won’t have buyers remorse either. I honestly am glad I found these and didn’t go spend hundreds of dollars on just one “name brand” work bench. I would pick these over them all day. This workbench is a good size for my RC cars parts. Comes with an LED light, peg board for hanging tools. It has 2 good sized drawers for storage as well as 2 larger cabinets for even more storage. Oh, yes, it can be locked... comes with 2 keys. Assemble isn't bad. Instrucuctions can he better, but not impossible to follow. Its better to have 2 people doing assembly. Kind of awkward sized pieces. This workbench is expandable with other cabinets and storage for this workbench system. Compared to other manufacturers, I feel i got hmthe most bang for my buck and these days we need all we can get. Also comes with tool mat. I just wish the led light was a tad bit brighter and lower cabinets don't come with shelves. Lastly, chair for the bench is also separate. I got 2 chairs from a local store... they were on sale. I recently bought a mini lathe and realized I needed a good place to set it up. This seemed like a great value being all metal and offering storage. The best thing about it is how easily it goes together. 40 minutes start to finish. They have an excellent design. Unfortunately, while they say it can hold 2500lbs, I always knew that was optimistic. The 87lbs lathe has the work top sagging pretty noticeably. So if you just need a simple metal work area with light storage, this is great. But dont trust the weight rating at all. ... show more

I recently purchased this 48" Heavy Duty Workbench for my garage, and it has exceeded my expectations. I purchased 4 of these work benches. I highly recommend. All metal construction. Even the “peg board” back. This is a great price for a quality workbench. It even comes with a mat for the top. It resembles an over size mouse pad. The instructions are easy. It states that it takes 30 minutes to assemble. This is true, from a sealed box to fully assembled. I do recommend that you do not fully tighten the back/peg board assembly until you have all the screws hand tight in place. All 4 that I purchased had all the parts and no damage. Pro’s: The price was great. The package arrived a week early. After assembly, the bench is sturdy enough for my use. The size is perfect for my space. Assembly was not complicated. Did I mention the price was right! Con’s: Some parts were damaged upon arrival, so it made the assembly harder than it had to be. The drawers are flimsy. It’s hard to find hooks that fits the metal peg board. The light is rather cheesy, but easy enough to upgrade. ... show more

This must be the worst customer service/product ever!!! I bought in a rush, being an Amazon favorite, paid the $23 extra shipping. It came to my new home, my wife is rushing me to get boxes out the house and into the shed, I tell her I can’t get things in the shed without organizing the shed, I look to see how many hooks are available so I can see how many hooks I would need… it’s not open so I look at the review and the reviews are complaining of the lack of hooks (none and special hooks). I tried to return it, they want 25-50% restocking fee because I did not open the box and they do not know if it damaged. I tell them my scenario , I haven’t opened the box I just don’t want it anymore and they continue with the same 25-50% restocking fee. Now I know that this is cheap for a workbench, I wasn’t expecting the best. But I haven’t opened the box. So my claim for damaged goods is not valid because I just don’t know. Now the comments read if you want to return it you have to have it boxed perfectly. My wife is telling me put your tools away so we can continue to unpack the house… so what am I going to do… listen to my wife…. I open the box, parts are smashed in I don’t know what parts they are because I haven’t even got to the instructions. I start putting it together. Easy peasy I work in maintenance I assemble things together on a daily basis. I follow all the instructions. My drawers don’t line up. They don’t close. I take it apart and put drawer 2 to drawer 1 because hey we are human and we mess up but no!!! Now it’s on a slant. I put them back the way they were because I’d rather have drawers that are leveled and don’t close than slanted. The parts that bashed in, they were the parts that kept everything together. I had to drill a hole on them to screw them to the wall. I opened up the bottom doors. I put 3 crates in them, I put a skilled saw, a sawzall and and a hammer drill and everything fell to the floor. Thats 3 crates one item in each one evenly spaced… the bottom plate just folded in half. Just like that. The inside bar that runs down the middle that supposed to be spot welded was already coming off and rusted before putting things together!! Where you put the drawers was bent forward it was impossible to put the bottom and top hook in, you can only put the either the top or bottom hook on. How is something that you just opened already busted. I contacted the seller before I opened it and said I’ll keep it just throw in the special hooks that you are selling for 40 bucks, they basically told me to return for 25-50% restocking fee. Maybe some people got a good one, maybe I bought a return. I am truly aware that I underpaid for something that I wanted to make life easier. But in the after thought I would’ve paid more for something that was made cheaper but was better put together without the hassle I had to go through to return an unopened package that was just delivered to my house.
