I would say this desk is pretty sturdy. I spent around 3-4 hours putting it together, but it was worth it — and definitely worth the price! It came with all of its bolts, and even a wrench and screwdriver for assembly. This is probably more medium-sized, but fits perfectly in the corner of my small spare bedroom (10x10 feet). It has a spot for a PC build, shelving for storage, and a little fabric drawer for pens/other small desk items, and a 4-port power bar w/2 USB spots that goes on top of the desk for convenience. I love that the orientation can be changed for left/right handed people. The extended side provides nice support for the arm if you type a lot. Got the desk in and my son was so excited! Started pulling all the pieces out to assemble and saw that the top corner of the desk was smashed in and was exposing the particle board on the inside. I know this was a problem with the shipping, but the packaging was very minimal with thin sheets of styrofoam. My son was too excited to return it so we kept it and touched it up with a sharpie to at least match the outer top. Overall it is a nice small desk, just the packaging needs to be better. This is, BY FAR, the worst piece of furniture I HAVE EVER put together. I have built easily 50 pieces of furniture like this in the last 5 years; I'm no rookie. Horrible instructions that are tiny and faded. Incorrect steps in the instructions. I had to remove 2 things to rotate for holes to line up even though the instructions say otherwise. Last step on the instructions to attach the RGB lights is impossible unless you have a special tool. Luckily I do. The main part of the desk doesn't even have screws to secure it on the right side so it just floats and rattles. Look, I understand that you get what you pay for, but if you make something this terrible you should have a little respect and find another profession. Worst part is that it's impossible to return.
