Last year I got a Cub Cadet ZT1 Ultimata 54" mower for our 3 acre wooded lot. During the spring/summer I use the cover to keep the weather off the mower so it is easy to start mowing. The lightweight fabric does a great job keeping the mower dry. The straps keep the cover in place even in pretty strong winds. I like how the front is tagged so getting the cover on the right way is quick and easy. The area between black and gray has a reflective fabric stripe so it is easily visible with any light source at night time. It help up all season with only 1 small tare next to a strap due to me over-tightening the cover. The adjustable straps make it easy to fit larger or smaller mowers. There was no mold or mildew on the cover after being on all winter long. It stands up to the elements fine and keeps the seat, electronics, and top of the mower dry.

First thing I noticed as I took it out of the clear plastic package was how well it was constructed out of waterproof canvas fabric and sewn with welts so seams should not ravel for a very long time. It has “FRONT” sewn on front, so it should be aligned correctly and a drawstring around the bottom so it should stay put in windy locations. Other than sun damage, I’d say I bought the best thing to cover my big investment- my lawn & Garden Tractor. Now it’s up to me to put it in the best place possible for the longevity of the fabric. Pretty good fit too! So much better than a tarp that only lasted a year anyway! Depending on where I park it for winter will decide how long it lasts now. It was simple for 1 old lady to put it on correctly & packaging was 1 sheet chipboard and the single plastic bag- that was nice too! I think this will last years & years if I park it out of direct sunlight and on the right side of the house as to not take the brunt of the winter storm we usually get. Stretchy adjustable cord around bottom for good coverage and no fly offs! 3 stars instead of 4 for the lightweight watershed fabric on top- I believe should have fabric underneath the lightweight fabric for more structure support over time the heavier material on sides will pull on the lightweight top “fabric”.

This cover worked perfectly for my John Deere D105. It’s big enough to completely cover the mower, including the wheels, and the elastic hem helps keep it secure. I stored the mower under my deck all winter, and the cover held up great—no rips, fading, or signs of wear. The material feels thick and durable, and I like that it has “front” labeled to make it easier to throw on quickly. It’s definitely oversized, but that’s better than too small. If you’re looking for solid protection during off-season storage, this cover does the job.
