I purchased a set of these sheets/pillow cases yesterday and they were delivered the next day. Based on the price, I wasn't exactly sure whether or not, they'd actually be 100% cotton. I stand corrected, they're exactly as advertised. After opening the package, the feel of the sheets were soft. However, there was a strong smell after opening the plastic carrier it arrived in. This is totally normal based on the chemicals including dyes, which are used during the manufacturing process of the sheets, you need not be deterred by this as most people know as a general rule, sheets will need to be washed prior to use. After I washed & dried the sheets, ''Voila'' smell be gone ! I have no doubt, I will be ordering additional sets though, my wife and I will most likely argue about the color ! I explained to het that, we are the only ones who are going to see the sheets, she gave me that look. Ladies choice, I guess ! ... show more

UPDATE: better than expected on a new 13” mattress with a 1” mattress protector. So at 14” or so, plenty of room to get sheets under corners and down along the side. High quality and these were sitting in a ball on the chair waiting for a new mattress to arrive. These sheets feel like they are $125 sheet set you get from a mattress seller or a fancy hotel. I bought the dark gray because they were cheap, and at about or less than half the price of other colors. These are a hidden gem on Amazon because for the price you are getting very high quality sheets. I just opened them today, put them in the washer and dryer and I'm absolutely thrilled. They seem awesome. Very much like what you'd expect from a high quality hotel sheet set, or better. I don't find comfort or cooling with microfiber, but these, these are amazing. Sateen finish, don't stick to them if wearing cotton night clothes, and just absolutely awesome. Bought another set while I could! ... show more

Overall, we like these sheets. They fit our mattress well and have plenty of length to stay tucked in. The only downside is that they are a bit crunchy and wrinkle easily. They are cotton sheets, so the wrinkling was somewhat expected, but we have other cotton sheets that are softer. I was skeptical of these being as advertised due to the very low price. I am ecstatic over the quality of these sheets. They are absolutely 400 thread count 100 percent cotton sheets. Soft to the touch and cooling to the body. Yes they have a slight smell before washing but that is to be desired. Cotton attracts bugs, this smell is most likely the chemicals sprayed on cotton to keep it from being eaten. Always wash clothing and bedding before use! I'm also amused by people who are outraged that cotton sheets wrinkle...it's cotton. It wrinkles. These feel like luxury sheets for a fraction of the cost. ... show more

Replaced a poly cotton set with this. Noticeably thicker, maybe even too thick to use flat sheet as a covering in my warm house during the summer. Followed drying directions and the sheets came out with few wrinkles for a pure cotton set. Color and fit are good. Price excellent.
