I really needed a good silverware set because my old silverware isn't a matching set. When these came in, I was so happy with the look, feel, and quality. My only issue is that they are really long. Maybe I did not quite understand how long they would be based on the photo.

I needed an extra few utensils and loved the shape when I saw these. These are excellent for the price - very sturdy, they have a good weight, they don’t feel awkward in your hands. After reading the description I was concerned about the dishwasher leaving spots on them, but I have to say I haven’t experienced that at all. Nor with handwashing and just letting it air dry. They are sleek and elegant and also kind of whimsical. The only “drawbacks” I can comment on are the fact that the handles are long. Way longer than my other utensils so that they overlap space in my utensil holder, which is the Joseph Joseph DrawerStore. If you’re familiar, this is compact and they situate differently. If you have regular type of holder, this may not be an issue at all. The other is the tapered end and again, this may not have any effect on you, but the ends can slide into the holes of my dishwasher utensil basket. They don’t go far enough to do any harm, but they can go in there. Other than those two very subjective drawbacks, these are a great set of utensils for the price point! ... show more

Ok so I had the gold versions of these and the color wore off after having them in the dishwasher for the course of a year or so. I felt like it was probably toxic to use since the color was fading, so I went back to standard silver. These are awesome and have brushed look to the finish. I just ran it in my dishwasher and they look perfect. I have no issues eating with these utencils and the bonus is that they have a lot of weight to them so it feels like quality! The proportion of this flatware is really off. The knife is tiny with a very small spreadable surface, especially in comparison to the huge surface of the larger spoon. They will get the job done, but not impressed with the overall appearance of heft.

I love this silverware set! The color is a very nice matte black and I have been using it for a month and the finish holds up great. They have been run through the dishwasher several times and they still look like new. The utensils are made of a very hard sturdy metal. They are very smooth and nicely weighted. This stuff is HEAVY. They are not playing around with the durability. These could possibly survive a nuclear war. I gave four stars instead of five because they're actually kind of scary. The handle end is very pointy and the butter (??) knives are worryingly sharp. They aren't steak knives or anything but they do appear sharp enough that some accidental cuts could occur. Pieces are strong and sturdy. Like the sleek, modern look and feel. Love the shape of the soup spoon, but dessert fork tines and knife edge are a bit small. We ended up using these as a set in our RV.
