This thing is excellent. Assembly was actually fun, which is not something I say very often about furniture. Everything comes packaged extremely well, the hardware is organized, and the instructions are clear and easy to follow. They even include extra hardware on purpose, so there’s no moment of wondering whether the leftover screw means you screwed something up. A really nice hex tool with a substantial handle is included, and it makes installing all the screws much easier than using one of those miserable little bent Allen keys that usually comes with furniture. I had the entire bookshelf assembled in less than half an hour. The lumber itself is excellent quality and, as a completely unexpected bonus, smells fantastic. The natural wood looks great right out of the box and would also be extremely easy to paint or stain. I’m leaving mine exactly as it came because I really like the unfinished natural look. Once assembled, this thing is incredibly stable. The bottom drawer is especially impressive. It’s not some flimsy little afterthought. It feels heavy duty, slides nicely, and has a quality pull. Wall safety hardware is also included to secure the bookshelf against tipping, which is obviously important if it’s being used around kids. Ironically, I’m not using mine as a kids bookshelf at all. I’m using it to organize guitar pedals and music books, and it works beautifully for that purpose. The forward facing shelves make everything easy to see and grab, and the drawer gives me additional storage underneath. Excellent materials, excellent construction, easy assembly, great packaging, and far more versatile than the description might suggest. Worth every penny and then some. Highly recommended.

This bookshelf has a lot of positives. It is large enough to really hold a good amount of books. However, it is light enough to be moved without a problem. The quality of the wood is good. There were no cracks or rough spots. The unit was fairly quick and easy to piece together. And it is stable when sitting on the floor, though it did come with some stabilizing hardware. There are two things I see as cons for this unit. The drawer is a tight fit. It doesn't have runners. It just slides into the open spot. Only it is fairly tight and depending on the surface, it's hard to get it to slide out to put anything in it. It's also fairly small, making me wonder if it isn't just better to not use that portion. The second issue was with the screw holes. All of the holes worked perfectly, except for two. These two, I think the holes were drilled a hair too big. They wouldn't tighten, and if the shelf is tipped, they will fall out. Even with these two holes like that, the shelf was sturdy and stable once I secured all the other screws, but depending on where those holes are, getting loose ones could cost stability. Still, this is a good bookshelf for the price.

I really like this little bookshelf! It was fairly easy to put together and took me about 45 minutes to an hour. The only issue I had was with the included tool—it wasn’t very helpful, so I ended up grabbing an easier one I already had, which made assembly much smoother. Once assembled, though, it’s really cute and feels sturdy. I love that the shelves are low enough for the kids to easily see and grab their own books. It also holds a ton of books without taking up a ridiculous amount of space. The natural wood is pretty on its own, but I could definitely see myself staining it at some point to match the room. For the price, I honestly think it’s a really good buy. Simple, cute, functional, and great for encouraging kids to actually keep their books organized.

This bookshelf feels very sturdy and durable, which is especially important for furniture in a kid’s room. The natural wood look and scalloped design are really cute, and the forward-facing shelves make it easy for kids to see and choose their books. The four tiers provide a good amount of space without the bookshelf feeling too bulky. I also like the bottom drawer for storing extra books, toys, or other small items. Overall, it’s a well-made and functional bookshelf that keeps books organized while still looking cute in a nursery or playroom. I’m especially impressed with how solid and durable it feels.

This kids bookshelf is a great size for a playroom or nursery. The four-tier design makes it easy to display books with the covers facing forward, so children can see and choose what they want without having to dig through a traditional bookshelf. The natural wood finish also looks simple and clean in the room. I like the scalloped design because it gives the shelf a cute look without being too flashy. The drawer provides some extra storage for smaller toys, books, or other items that tend to clutter the room. The height works well for toddlers, and the overall design makes it easier for kids to access their books independently. Overall, a practical and attractive organizer for a child's room.

I wanted to love this item, but there are a few things that were not quite right with it. I will start with the positives: it is a nice wooden bookshelf and seems durable and heavy. It’s real wood. It holds a lot of books. It’s definitely still usable and can be modified to be correct. Negatives: some of the edges are sharp, only some of the edges are rounded, but on the drawer that edges are still sharp. The drawer does not fit once it was assembled and books are put in the drawer is extremely tight to squeeze back in. Not sure I see a big point of having a drawer there. Doesn’t work super well on carpet. It did not come with enough screws to put the back brace portion on. if you really wanted the drawer feature, it would need to be much smaller and have little wheels to roll in and out.

This 4-Tier Montessori Scalloped Kids Bookshelf with Drawer is a lovely addition to a child's room. It looks great and helps keep books organized. It loses one star only for a tricky setup. What We Love Cute Design: The scalloped edges look sweet and fit nicely in a playroom or bedroom. Child-Friendly Height: Kids can easily reach their favorite books all by themselves. Montessori Style: Facing the book covers outward helps young children pick what they want to read. Extra Storage: The bottom drawer is handy for small toys, blocks, or extra supplies. What Could Be Better Assembly Time: Putting it together takes time and patience. The instructions are a bit hard to follow. Drawer Size: The drawer is a bit shallow and does not hold very heavy items.

This is such a beautiful bookshelf for any little one’s bedroom, nursery, or playroom. I really love the natural wood look. It gives the room a more polished and organized appearance while still being perfect for a child’s space. The forward-facing shelves make it easy to display books so kids can actually see the covers, and the additional drawer is great for keeping smaller items tucked away. It really helps cut down on clutter and elevates the overall look of the room. The wood feels very nice, and I was also happy that assembly was not difficult. Once put together, it looks great and provides plenty of useful storage. It is a wonderful combination of organization, function, and style!
