I ordered the 6". So far they seem very sturdy and durable. The legs fold and lock in place so they stay put. These are heavy duty and kind of industrial/institutional looking. I would not purchase them if needed for an aesthetically pleasing application.

Super easy to install and very solid Use it to create a food tray that sits above the table. The short legs were a perfect height. It’s working perfectly. One note if you do buy this product, the rear screws need to be as far away from the sides of the bracket as possible otherwise, the leg will not lock into place. It only makes sense if you buy it in front of you found that out after the first leg just to make sure that you pre-drill a hole away from the edges of the bracket and it works perfectly great product. ... show more

I use these legs to support the moving sections of my van bed. They are easy to use/fold. They are easy to install. They are durable and support my weight easily. I gave them 4 starts because they do not always extend to a perfect 90 degree angle- they have a slight looseness or wiggle when locked in place which can result in just slightly under 90 degrees. This has not been off issue- but I could see that it might result in issue for some users. Legs do not lay flat when folded - they all sit out at a slight angle. Instead of 90 degrees folding down to a flat 0 - the range is more like between 90 and 5 degrees (see end of video) Additionally I use these legs horizontally as well to support a desk extension. The weight pressing down from the side has not worsened the already slightly loose “locked” position. ... show more

These legs were EXACTLY what I wanted and met every expectation. I read some negative reviews about the legs not closing properly or locking into place. That is simply not true. I attached mine to a small platform I had constructed. I pre-drilled holes in preparation for the screws and used an impact driver to attach the screws. When properly attached, the screws do not interfere with the operation of the legs. On the first few attempts at locking the legs in the open position, they were a bit stiff. Now that I’ve done it a few times, they lock effortlessly. A quick push on the unlock latch and they fold back up against the bottom of the bench. I highly recommend these legs and would not hesitate to buy them again. ... show more

They're well built but they wobble. They don't perfectly lock out when extended so there is some play. I use these for a platform to put my drum throne on so It's holding up my weight of about 220 lbs so they're definitely strong enough. With my weight on it the wobbling isn't too bad so I can live with it. It would just be better if these had better tolerances and perfectly locked out. Also they slightly stick out when folded because the screw heads are in the way. Not a super big deal but just know the legs are not going to sit flush with your table top when folded. ... show more
