I think the elastic needs to be smaller. I have short hair (trying to grow it out but it's in the "in between" stage of just long enough to pull into a short ponytail or shaving it all off!) Was hoping these would work. The straight one isn't that long but if I pull some of the elastic up and use just that over my ponytail, then pull it thru the middle hole, it seems to work. The others are more difficult. If I use the elastic center and twist them over 3 or more times, it's a jumbled mess. I like the look of a messy bun but not spaghetti gone wild! I'm tempted to weave several elastic bands thru the middle to make them tighter. ... show more

I enjoyed this product because it matches my hair color perfectly. I did not like that 2 of the 4 were slightly bigger/ thicker so it looks huge on my head especially since i have to wrap the hair binder twice around my hair. Overall, i am happy with it for the price.
