I used several of these to help stop my pup from getting out of a vertical stone fence that has holes large enough to allow my 7 lbs dog to slip through. I could stretch them to meet my specifications and get the job done. Although not the conventional planting use, I can tell you that they are sturdy enough to stop my pup from going through and light enough for me to carry several at a time. The price is more than fair for this trellis - for conventional and unconventional use.

This trellis is generally useful. It looks nice. It is easy to set up (expands to various widths). However, the ends are unstable, with an occasional dangling piece which is a challenge to secure somewhere.

I needed a trumpet vine trellis for a utility pole. These can be stretched to be long and narrow, so they were perfect for mounting next to each other as a two-sided pole wrap, going up 6-7 feet. Not extremely sturdy, but definitely adequate when nailed to a pole. Worth the $$.
