The desk is a little bit hard to put together, but for the value and quality you get makes up for those extra few minutes. Also having 4 legs instead of the T legs makes the desk so much more stable compared to other that cost more. The only issue I see is that the desk is kind of thin so if using monitor arms that clamp down, I would use a metal support, so the desk does not get damaged over time. ... show more

Wanted to give my review on this desk as I think it’s the best price to quality standing desk. It is very sturdy, thanks to the 4 legs, and is able to hold up my desktop, laptop, 2 monitors while mounted. When transitioning to stand mode is is very smooth and quiet, obviously the higher you go up the less stable it is, but even at the highest level, it is still very stable. My only “issue” with the desk wood be the actual table top. I’m not a big fan of the spliced desktop, but it is pretty durable and I don’t have any issues with mounting my 2 monitors. 5/5 great value desk ... show more

Love it. I’ll never go back to a 24” desk depth again. Waste of time but 30” is the minimum amount!! Great desk, easy assembly. I wish I knew it was two pieces of faux wood to connect and install on top. But so far, haven’t noticed the seam or ran into it catching anything. Sits flat and a SOLID DESK. Down the road, if I need a fun project, I might replace the top with real wood. But the desk frame is solid solid! ... show more

    • 71x31 FitStand desk is ONE motor
Just received the 71x31 desk. Beautifully packaged and all parts arrived in apparent perfect condition. Have yet to assemble it and will report back, but note it is NOT a dual motor desk as mentioned in other reviews for this product. It would be helpful if this could be explicitly described along with the product attributes. I spent considerable time comparing adjustable height desks and it seems that Amazon reviews do not always match the products. As well, the vendors could do a better job of putting all the attributes in a single chart (number of motors, height range, capacity, how many segments the top consists of, two legs vs four legs, thickness and nature of the top, number of shipped boxes, etc.). So far I'm very satisfied with the quality of the legs and top. Post assembly: All parts arrived in perfect order. Arrived in one box (unlike some) that's 100#. Assembly was a leisurely ~1.5-2 hours. Good quality hardware, excellent instructions and all parts aligned properly. Pros: . Very competitive price ($256 in Jan-2026 for the FitStand 71x31 adjustable desk) . Very sturdy with close to zero wobble in seated or standing position . 4 legs, all parts powdercoated and sturdy . Quiet raise/lower and decent controls Cons: . The top is ~1/2" thick so may be borderline for some monitor clamps . Only ONE MOTOR (take note Rufus); Oddly the same weight capacity as Flexispot/Sanodesk models with 2 motors . The top came in two 35.5x31" sections, ergo a seam down the middle Recommendations: . A 10mm socket & wrench and power driver with Phillips bit will make assembly faster/easier . Recommend using Loctite on motor shaft set screws . Take care when tightening the small wood screws, particularly when attaching the plastic power supply caddy; It's easy to overtighten and push through the top laminate . Assemble the legs in standing position as instructed, then lay the two top portions on top; makes it easier to press the two top portions together and avoids scratching the top; you can attach the top working from underneath; this also avoids the somewhat sketchy operation of flipping the heavy desk later Overall, pretty satisfied but a bit concerned about the longevity of the single motor. ... show more

I bought this for my home office and I am very pleased. It;s sturdy, has a powerful motor, and is the perfect size for what I needed. I got the 72" version and I am not disappointed at all. Other similar desks were thousands of dollars and for the price, this was a no-brainer! I am Very Happy!
