Not a bad sounding exhaust. Gives a nice look to the car. Comes with a restrictor plate on the end of the muffler that’s held on by 2 screws, removing that makes the car a bit louder. Installation was a bit tricky, everything fits as necessary but the pipe in the new exhaust that runs from the cat is about 3 feet too short. I cut the new down pipe, that runs from the cat (which also had a different connection than the stock, at the very end and cut the factory down pipe to make it fit properly. I used an adapter from the stock to this aftermarket and 2 clamps from autozone, about $30 extra in parts. Kinda expected it from the other reviews. Definitely not direct fit, but if you don’t mind some minor fabrication it’ll make for a fun project in the drive way with satisfying results. I drive a 2000 civic lx sedan, but the coupes and sedans have the same exhaust, so if you have this generation still expect fabrication.

Sounds great when you install it right. It’s correct when it says it fits all civics from 92-2000, but be aware that it will not fit like the stock. The pipe is bigger. I had to get some high heat resistant wrap to put around one spot because it was rubbing directly against my emergency brake line. And ALSO!... tighten down the bolts on the silencer piece. The little plate inside the exhaust with the two bolts and screws. It rattles because they do not tighten it down in the factory. I didn’t know this and it ended up rattling so much it fell off in the middle of the road. I had to go back, run in the street to get it, and buy new bolts and nuts to fasten it tightly. And also keep in mind that if your car is lowered the is muffler is bigger so speed bumps may be a problem! Great value aftermarket piece other than that!

Does not fit 2000 honda ex 4 door. Tail pipe does no come out its moved foward is it the fitment is for a 2 doors. Made it work though I bent the pipe and got it to extend a little more. Other than that headache it was fairly easy to install, has a deep tone. Worth the cheap pricing.

This exhaust is very loud without the silencer and when silencer is on it rattles at high revs. Over all ok but could be better designed. Also one of the cross hangers welds came broken apart. So not what I expected as advertised for sure 😐

Fitment was not great. 90 degree bends came up an inch too short so rubbing on the heat shield. I will fabricate a spacer to remedy this but somewhat disappointing. Fasteners and gaskets seemed of good quality. It all fit together nicely to itself, just not to my car! Muffler louder than expected! Baffle fell off the first mile! I had to walk back and grab it. I re-secured it with my own fasteners. Make sure to secure this! Stainless steel and welds all seemed decent.

Bought this as a cheap replacement to the rusted out stock exhaust. Exhaust isn’t bad for the price, doesn’t actually sound too ricey. I have heard a lot worse. When I got all the parts it bolted right up. This will not fit a DX model unless you have this part; “DNA MOTORING For Honda Polished Chrome Stainless Steel High Performance Pipe” The sellers description for the exhaust gives you a part number that goes back to the same same exhaust so it’s usless. I tried to contact them to find out what part I actually needed and the were clueless so I took a chance on that part above and it fit. Came with the o-ring and spring bolts so no need to by extra.

My car 2000 civic ex coupe. Fit: In regards to fit it is perfect, a true direct fit. Sound: It definitely sounds pretty ricey after 3 rpms or if you step on the gas quickly. Price: Because of the sound I would have given this 3 stars but due to the price and fit I give it 4 stars. All in all, I prefer a deep tone but this does the job that I need it to do with my beater civic. You can install it yourself with no help.

The system arrived with all the parts necessary to do the job. The silencer rattles around, though and makes more noise than the exhaust system. I installed this on a 1997 Honda Civic LX. What I didn't realize is that the Civic has a second catalytic converter and that my exhaust rusted at a point in front of that cat. I had to cut a piece of pipe off the old exhaust and place it in that space, so there's no second cat on my car. I did pass emissions check, however.
