I couple the DNA headers and Exhaust (no catalytic converter) and had a mechanic install it. It sounds great and is very loud. The interior of the car is loud as well, but it doesn't bother me. On Idle it gives that low rumble of a muscle car, and while giving it acceleration it kind of gets raspy to me, but it still sounds great. I can make it pop while the foot is off the accelerator and then lightly tapping it or while dual clutching. Which is a good feeling and noise feedback. The downside is I have been pulled over for being too loud, but I believe it was because I was in a underpass and a dense commercial area where the sound echoes. I tried to install these myself, but I don't have the expertise or the equipment to do it. (I think I may have been able to do it myself if I had a lift) and it costs a few hundred dollars for a mechanic. ... show more

Purchased this for a 4Cyl 2002 Eclipse RS. It bolted straight on with no issues. The hardest part of the instal was dealing with the rusty bolts on the exhaust. Luckily, this package comes with new bolts so no worries there. Sounds a bit raspy but I know the rest of my exhaust is loose & rattles a lot. The quality of the stainless steel is alright. The polish is only on the muffler so the rest will rust EASILY & QUICKLY and the burnt tip isn’t the greatest looking. The sound is decent. Definitaly loud but not like, Mustang loud.     • Great value for the price!
This went on an '01 GT; 3.0L V6. This is the first "low shelf" performance item I've purchased that didn't require another extra hour worth of work to make fit, and the very first aftermarket exhaust I've EVER purchased where all the hangers lined up with the factory location. The main trouble I had was removing my factory exhaust, that's about all. The ONLY modification I needed to do on this unit was trim the rear most flange a little bit to fit over the rear subframe. It was a tad too big and would not fit between the body and subframe. I trimmed up a bit from the edges and bam, no worries! The sound is nice. Really wakes up the V6. I can also feel the difference in performance as well. Unusual for an exhaust addition. It opened up my midrange considerably. It's paired with a 3" cold air intake for better breathing all around. ... show more

    • It didn’t fit
It was 2 1/2 inches to long had cut it and reeled it. I had to weld a bung for o2 sensor since there wasn’t one in it. 6 hrs later it was on the car. It sounds great.

Great sound and good product. Just beware that on the cat from the car the studs are welded to the cat and on our age of vehicle theyll be rusted to uselessness. Also getting the rear section to fit up and over the rear frame requires alittle bending of the floor panel where the spare tire is. I would suggest professional installation. ... show more

    • Is not a direct fit. Modifications are needed.

This is not a direct fit. So buyer beware. Having it installed now. Piping hits the cross bar in the rear and other places. Have to half it cut repositioned and welded back to fit. No a direct bolt on.

Went on my 01 eclipse gs. I didn't install it but my mechanic said it went on without much problem aside from old muffler bolts were rusty. Looks good sounds nice on start up and at low rpms. Nice tuner hum. Don't know if I'm getting old but gets pretty loud past 2 1/2 rpms. I'd recommend it for the price. ... show more
