This is what you want in a caster: large diameter wheels with ball bearings. These are heavy duty and come individually wrapped in a box mainly to protect everything else that might be shipped with it. The casters are constructed using heavy duty carbon steel frames and brakes with ball bearings on each side of the wheel as well as ball bearings at the plate mount pivot point. Swivel and rotational motion is smooth and the urethane "tires" help add to the smooth ride. These casters have additional features and functionality as well. The safety brakes lock both the urethane wheel and the plate mount swivel, so all movement is halted once they are applied. I provided a few close up pictures of the locks disengaged and engaged at both points. For mounting, the center line to center line hole distances are about 1-7/8" X 2-7/8" so these are easily mounted on your typical 2X4 frame across the 3-1/2" dimension. I used M8 X 40mm lag bolts for my application, which was the trailer dolly in the picture. The old cheap dolly I was originally using was better than the single wheel of the trailer jack, but had 2" plastic wheels and slip bearings, and would get stuck between the expansion joints in my concrete driveway, but these wheels have no problem with the 1 inch gap. And at around $5 per caster, you really can't beat the value for that price.

Received 4x black wheels 4in wheels. Total height 5.5in from top of mounting plate to bottom point of wheel. The mounted plate size of 3 5/8" x 2 1/2" There are 4 screw holes at 1/2" They're carbon steel and PU. Weighing about seven pounds. They can handle a lot of weight: all four can take up to 2200 lbs, which is great for heavy-duty stuff. They have brakes on both the wheels so they'll stay put. The swivel is super smooth and quiet. I'm planning on using these for my work station in the garage so I can move it around easily. Just bolt or screw them on, the screws are not included. So you'll need to get your own with the correct thread size and length needed at least minimum 2" long thread. Good brakes which feel like they are easy to apply. Smooth gliding quiet wheels. Slight play on rolls so its gona give a little wiggle. Open bearing plate probably have to grease over time to prevent eroding. Nice thick plate to attach on to my work station. Anti-vibration on screw thread to prevent screws backing out.

I have a cabinet that's about 250lbs. It's heavy duty, made custom with extra wood I had laying around. I never took into account that it would be too heavy to move around. I figured I would put it in the corner and never move it. But it's time to move it. I got these wheels and I can't believe how easily it handles my cabinet, let alone all the stuff in it. I have power tools, heavy large tools, I would easily say it's well over 1000lbs. The wheels function incredibly well. They are incredibly smooth and roll very well. The wheels also lock very well. The direction you lock them is the direction it stays. It's not just the wheel, it's the entire caster. For the ability of moving such weight, these wheels are well worth the value. Great product.

This is a pretty nice set of casters. They have very smooth action with nice ball bearing rotation points. The build quality is very good. Much better than anything. You’d find at Harbor freight. The wheels are very hard like a rollerblade tire and are non marring to the best I can tell. The lock is very nice on each caster and it even has detents to grab the tire securely. These are a very good value for the cost and should function very well.

These caster wheels do what they’re supposed to. The load rating is strong enough for my workbench, and they roll smoothly even with a lot of weight on them. The brakes hold well, locking both the wheel and the swivel so the bench stays put. Installation was simple with the plate mount, but keep in mind you’ll need to supply your own screws or bolts. They work fine for heavy furniture or shop projects, though I wouldn’t say they’re anything fancy. I am a little concerned that the wheels are made of plastic also, but they seem strong enough. Overall, they’re a good, reliable option if you need sturdy casters for heavy-duty use. A decent value for the money.

These casters are extremely sturdy and well-built. The wheels remind me of roller skate wheels—smooth, solid, and designed to roll with ease. The all-metal mounting base feels durable, and the bearings allow the wheels to glide effortlessly. Honestly, I didn’t expect this level of quality for the price, but I’m very impressed and couldn’t be happier with the purchase. Just a heads-up: they don’t come with screws for installation, so you’ll need to have those on hand.

The media could not be loaded. All four casters in this set swivel, and all four of them have locking levers. Engaging the locking lever also locks the swivel as well. I really like this feature for my tables. Bearings are used for both the axle and the swivel point. I should also note that there's a fair amount of play in the mechanism even when it's locked up, to the tune of a quarter inch when measured where the wheel meets the floor. This will keep a table from rolling but it will still shake some. The tire material is a very firm plastic, probably polyurethane but it could also be nylon, it's that hard. I can't easily deform it with a fingernail. This means less rolling/sliding resistance but also a rougher ride. These are definitely heavy duty with the mounting plate and forks made of stamped 3/32 steel. Will work well for my workbench that I want to put on wheels.

These are 4" casters with locks. The roll easily and smoothly. The locks when engaged hold the wheels tight. Can hold over 2000 lbs of weight and are strong and sturdy. You install with four bolts on each wheel. This is a good deal and I am happy with the order.
