It is very sturdy and was easy to set up. The clasps keep it in either of the two positions very securely, allowing for a variety of uses. We have had it for about two months and will definitely keep using it for our toddler and also our next child! This table and stool is a wonderful addition to our household. Very sturdy, functional, and safe. It’s lightweight enough to not be overly heavy either. Very easy to maneuver. Extremely easy to switch from desk to stool. My daughter loves the desk so much she’s already colored on it and all over it. She likes to sit and eat her snacks. It’s a great size for her and easy to get in and out on her own. And she loves standing on the stool to see me cooking in the kitchen. Great buy doesn’t take up too much space.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I picked this one because it’s multi-use. It’s easy to flip from step up stool to table. Sturdiness: It’s pretty sturdy and stable. Ease of assembly: It was about a 30 minute assembly, and pretty easy to out together. The only negative is the fact that it’s bear/unfinished wood, and with a coat it would be more aligned with user behavior. My toddler spills everything. And she’s always carrying food in her hand. It got stained day one and it absorbed immediately into the wood. I’ve scrubbed it and the stains don’t improve.

When I felt how soft and natural the wood felt I could tell it would soak up any mess that happens on it. So I decided to stain and seal it and it came out great! Since the wood was already good material it stained so nicely. My 15 month old loves being able to reach the counter and help in the kitchen now. It seems stable and like it wont easily tip over. Also it was actually super easy to put together and I am in no way a handy person. Overall, for what I paid I think it was a great investment for our kiddo. If you have extra time or want to take on a relatively easy project, I def recommend you at least just seal it to prevent hard to clean stains!

It is very well built, the hardware is strong and it was very easy to put together. The wood is very sturdy and has non slip for safety, It is perfect size for my 1.5 year old. I like that it fold to a table, its been very convenient to have around the kitchen.
