This is beautiful. It is exceptional quality, well made, easy to install, and looks fantastic! I suggest laying it on your bed in the correct direction and tying the corners and ties closest to the corners first. Once it is entirely up, iron or steam the wrinkles out, and make sure your posts are durable, especially for a King like ours. I will be getting the other colors.

I was having so much struggle to put this on! First to remember: its a canopy, so it has a top (this was something that escaped my mind). Best to start tying in one corner and then just take your time. I would loosely time one corner, skip a tie, loosely tie another one, skip a tie, etc. Then, I made it around the bed again, this time tying the ties tighter. I promise when it is finally up, it is very beautiful. As for darkening the room, I don't know. I purchased this strictly for aesthetic reasons.

LOOKS SO GOOD!!! I accidentally got the wrong size, but it still looks nice. It is see-through in the day and doesn't completely block light. If you have a cat I will warn you now, try not to put anything near the bed your cat could use to jump on it. It. Will. Break. It's an easy fix just use super glue to get the ribbons back on. I recommend a chair or a way to stand outside your bed to put it on. I made the mistake of tying every ribbon before I knew the orientation was correct and had to redo it multiple times. For your first time find the corners and tie them first, then the middle ones, and then the rest. Honestly looks really pretty and I get lots of compliments!

I like how it looks and the fabric is soft. The fabric isn't too thick so it's not blackout it does block out some light but not enough for my husband who works nights. This isnt a huge concern as we have blackout certains but might be an issue for someone else. While the fabric is on the thinner side it still gets pretty warm on the inside. Set up is self-explanatory very easy. When hanging the ties are easily ripped my 3 year old stepped on it ripping one of the ties so we plan on flipping it and tying it from the inside to make it alittle more sturdy. The size fit perfectly for my bed. All in all I'm pretty happy with it just need to adjust a few things to make it work for us.

Pretty easy to put on (with a little help) and it looks nice. I like that there are two layers, a mesh one and then the thicker one on top. It does block some light but it’s not blackout level. Always wanted a canopy with curtains, I’m very pleased!
