  • Works, just a bit confusing to use
Model: 4 Channel Audio Interface
This is a nice little mixer for the price! It worked right out of the box. Just a tip: input 3/4 is the line volume for your Bluetooth but you have to depress the line/USB button, have the mode on Bluetooth and be connected to a Bluetooth device. You can set your Bluetooth level from 3/4 and also the treble and bass, then control the overall volume with the "level" knob that says L/R, which looks like a pan knob but is actually the master volume. Confused? Hope that helps. ... show more

  • Great with Little Self Noise
Model: 4 Channel Audio Interface
This little mixer worked very well. I tested it on some church audio where we were using a date mixer from the 80s and not surprisingly it blew it out of the water. The sound quality is good with minimal self noise. I even was able to use this on a streaming setup with dual mics. This is a pretty good bargain if you need a small mixer that just gets the job done with nothing fancy. ... show more

  • Mixed Mixer Mixed Up Review
Model: 4 Channel Audio Interface
First and foremost: If you need clear instructions to use things, then don't buy this! This is my biggest complaint, and why this only got 3 stars. The manual is awful! I don't think I learned a single thing by reading every page of the manual (which i did because I could figure out how to get any bluetooth device to connect to it). In addition, what there is in the manual is confusing too. More details below. It's a nice little mixer if you've used mixers before. It can be a bit noisy, so you definitely want to make sure everything is low before powering/unpowering, and you have to fiddle to make sure you keep the noise to a minimum. I found this to be especially true for the effects. Speaking of effects, it has 88 of them (though the front cover only broadly says what the range of effects are so you have to fiddle to find the sound you like. Most of the effects are okay, though since I mainly use it for guitar, I have effect pedals I use instead. It also has the ability to record and playback from a USB stick. NOTE: I haven't tested that functionality, so I can't tell you how good it is. I can tell you I read the directions and they confused the ever-loving-funk out of me. Overall, though, since I've used mixers before (analog and digital), I knew most of what was needed to get it connected and working. It did the things I would expect from an inexpensive mixer. I think it could exceed what I expect of an low end mixer, if only it had directions to make it more usable. BTW: I scoured the web and found no help, tips, videos, etc. Could be because this is too new? ... show more

  • USB Record?
Model: 4 Channel Audio Interface
I want to give this one or two stars, because it's not working for my purposes. I've been having a helluva time trying to record without too much static/noise. I have an older laptop, and nothing records well on it. So, I thought this mixer, with an option to record via USB drive, was going to finally do the trick. Problem is, the instructions are garbage, there is no record button, no way to tell if you are recording. I somehow managed to get a soundcheck recording (one, out of the many times I tried), that I almost thought was silence until I listened closely, and barely heard my voice doing a sound check. I imagine I didn't have the phantom button pressed. But that's the only one that made it through, in all my attempts. Can't find any tutorials or instructions for it anywhere. So, I can't use it until I get a designated audio recorder that works. Though I probably wouldn't need a mixer if I had that; I'm just doing spoken word, podcast/talking head/voiceover material. Anyway, the build quality seems decent, and it sounds beautiful in monitor. So, I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt for being a functional mixer for live or externally recorded audio. I just can't get the USB drive to record, which was the most important feature to me. And, even if I'm doing it wrong, which I often am, they need to add a record button, and let you know when it's recording. A second counter on the display would be a start, or at least an "REC" message, along with a pause and stop button. Please and thank you. *Update. I couldn't get it to record to USB disk at will, but I did get it to record today, simply by plugging my phone's charging cable into the usb port and using the microphone app. Had a lot going on in the house, so I didn't get to see how it would sound with everything quiet, but it did seem like I could record without an insane amount of background hiss like I've gotten with every other method I've tried with a studio mic. Will have to do some real testing when the house is quiet, but so far, so good. Figured I should come back and add a 4th star, since it looks like it's going tonwork as intended (other than saving it to a usb disk when I want, but hey). ... show more

  • Decent mixer for the price
Model: 4 Channel Audio Interface
The media could not be loaded. For the price, this mixer would be perfect for someone getting started and needing equipment. It supports up to three separate devices, has XLR outputs for a sound system or device, and can connect to a PC over USB C. The unit also provides some basic eq for the high and low bands, though there's no mid. Built into the device is a bunch of digital effects, which is a nice touch for something like this.It also includes 48v phantom power on Channels 1 and 2. As for the negatives, the turn knobs are not very stable. While they provide a notch at mid-turn, the knobs move around too much when turning them. This might be all right in the short term but indicates little support for the internal dials. Extended use could lead to shorting on the PCB and potentially introduce noise in the mixer. In the video I provided, you can see when I move one knob around, the adjacent knobs move as well. The exterior housing is a pretty solid build. Overall, for the price, it's a nice enough mixer to get started with but there are better quality products for only a bit more. ... show more
