I recently purchased this violin for my niece, she is a complete beginner but she fell in love with this beautiful violin once she got it. The build quality it solid. The wood feels smooth. Tuning the strings was easy—only a few twists and it held pitch well enough for my first practice. The little accessories—rosin, shoulder rest, soft case—all work nicely and make getting started less scary. For a new player on a budget, this violin is the perfect choice. It also includes an user guidance to help my niece to start her new journey! In addition, it arrived well packed and the shipping was so fast (I'm not a prime but I almost got it the next day!)

The violin came with no bridge. We are new to violins so my son went to his lesson with a violin that was not playable. His teacher had to tell us bc it was his first lesson and none of us have ever played before. So he had an entire lesson without playing a violin.

I ordered this on a whim thinking I could use this violin to start lessons. BIG MISTAKE. This thing is barely even put together. The bridge to body balance is non-existent so the bridge CONSTANTLY goes launching out, no matter how gently you tune it. Tuning it is the world's biggest pain: the string balls will NOT stay seated, and oh my god these PEGS. Seriously made out of the cheapest, crappiest wood on EARTH. The pegs CONSTANTLY slip, the E string peg most of all. Just spend the money on a Yamaha.
