There are a lot of reviews already about the one vs two battery issue, so I'm not going to go into that. Also want to focus on the power of this tool as with compatible tools you usually don't get this level of torque and speed when attempting to work on a 1/2 inch wrench on a generic branded tool. I recently had an issue where one of the bulbs on my car was so rusted that I literally had difficulty pulling it off with my hand Jack, and even one of my lighter duty Ryobi drivers. Luckily enough I was close to home so I was able to make it there without having to change out the tire . This unit had arrived the day before and I had just finished charging the battery that came with it, so it seemed like a really good test to see how much power it actually had. The answer is plenty has it made quick work of taking off my 1 tire and swapping it out with the spare. If you're just changing tires on a car this is definitely a great tool. What's the catch, it's the variable speed of the tool. There are times when I don't need everything to be running at full power, for instance when I'm changing the tires on my wheelchair I definitely do not want to be putting that much torque on my bolts that keep the tires on especially when I'm trying to tighten it back up. With many driving wrences you can adjust the torque and have it go into that clicking mode when you've reached that level. This unit essentially has 3 levels of power and the difference between low power and high power is just a hair of an inch, making it very difficult to find a precision between the different levels of power that you need. The only other complaint I have is that it did not come with a case, but I knew that ahead of time and I ended up dedicating a power tool bag to its use but I'm kind of running out of those tool bags and differentiating which one is which sometimes tedious. Overall, it's a good tool especially for swapping out car and truck tires, but you also don't bring a Mack truck when only a compact car is needed. If you're looking for brute force this is a good tool for you, and this is great tool for the money.

I already have an impact drill for stuff around the house, but I didn't have one with socket bits, so I was interested in seeing how this one worked. I was hesitant at first to really put it through it's paces, seeing as it only has one battery, and there doesn't seem to be a way to order a second one, but so far, one has held up quite well! I'm working on restoring a 1966 hardtop Mustang Coupe, and I decided to see if this little drill could hold it's own taking apart some of the old rusty bits inside the interior, and the wheels. To my surprise, the battery arrived almost fully charged, according to the indicator. After a full weekend of use, it's still got juice in it, and it's going strong. The bits seem to be of high quality. They aren't stripping the bolts, and they aren't just shredding everything I'm trying to use them on either. They're the most common sizes, which is nice, the sizes are all accurate as well. The drill seems quite strong. It feels responsive when you squeeze the trigger, doesn't feel "spongey." It's really hard to go wrong for the price here, but I am worried (just from previous experience) about the life of the battery...but it hasn't gone out yet! I hope there's a way to purchase additional ones soon. I love seeing more affordable, great quality tools enter the market and follow this one's example.

March 2, 2025: This cordless impact wrench comes with a battery pack, battery charger and some accessories. The product page title says two batteries are included, but I only received one. The print in the manual requires a magnifying glass. I scanned it so I could read it enlarged; and the smaller print is fuzzy when magnified. Also, some of the information wasn't translated well to English and requires common sense to interpret. I do think the instructions and warnings are important, especially for someone who is not familiar with impact devices). Only accessories which are designed for durability with an impact wrench should be used with it. After practicing a bit with the driver, I've come to like the options. • The brake-stop function is actually a short pulse mode while reversing — pull the trigger and get a brief spin that automatically stops. That's useful for controlling the pace while loosening bolts or nuts. • The middle position of the direction switch locks to prevent rotation. I wish it were more firm to avoid accidentally changing the position. • The mode switch button has a "power on/off" symbol which might be confusing. • The forward High setting is for impact and Low setting for standard duty. On the drill, instead of High/Low, it says Large/Small. • The speed is variable; relative to how far the trigger is depressed. • There are indicator LEDs showing the level of remaining charge. • There is built-in protection against overload and overheating. • Retaining pins are included to securely attach impact sockets. The driver I received had some scratches around the socket spindle which makes me wonder if this one was refurbished or if there were quality control issues. If this were not an evaluation copy, I would exchange it for a new one, including the missing battery pack. For the most part, I like this device. If anything remarkable happens, I'll update the review. ---------- March 6, 2025: I originally referred to this wrench or driver as a drill because of it's shape. It's not a drill so I've edited my review for accuracy.
