My Mercury 2.5 HP 4 stroke model 1F02201EK sat for a few years. Cleaned carb and reinstalled. Realized I had gas in my oil crankcase and oil blowing back out of carb. Got to where you couldn't pull cord due to hydrolocking . I assumed float needle wouldn't shut allowing gas to bypass into the motor. A couple oil changes and this new carb and it's back running like new. Starts, runs, and idles nicely. Cheaper than trying to order new float needle carb parts. Fit my model perfectly. ... show more

Got my engines going. In passed I had a few bad carbs but this one was much better quality. Will buy these from now on for my engines when I have carb issues. It's very affordable and super easy to install and fit is almost oem match 99%. I do recommend.

My nearly new 3.5 HP Mercury would not idle or run without the choke on even after I cleaned the carb. This carb is identical if not better than the original. The only adjustment I made a tweak to idle speed. Excellent product, very reasonable price.
