The 3M system is a bit pricey but when you've already spent over $1000 on your HVLP system already, the additional $150 isn't that bad. Where it shines for me is no cleanup on what holds the paint and love being able to store the paint in this system for many days if needed. Plus if gun has a pressurized hose feed to the paint hopper, like my fuji T70, it allows you to use that same setup so you can spray in any gun orientation. I originally had this mounted on a gravity feed gun (Fuji T75G) but the weight became to fatiguing for me when spraying cabinet systems like a 2 sink vanity plus. so I changed guns and went to a bottom feed setup. for me it worked far better plus it was easier to use my support hand if needed. ... show more

The fact that I can dispose without wasting time an material on cleaning, and can also store leftover paint . I have also left Clear coat and primer for a day and was able to use .

May seem expensive but when you are spraying a car you don't want to spend a bunch of time cleaning dirt out of the paint or Clear Coat after you spray.
