This double-sided tape worked extremely well, putting on Goodyear rainguards. The original tape on the rainguards didn’t hold very well. So, we switched it out with this tape& it is holding extremely strong! This tape was a bit thicker then the original tape that came on the rainguards, but not too thick that it didn’t fit in the window channel. (‘23 Corolla) Both Auto-Zone and Advanced Auto parts, recommended this tape for anything on the outside of the car. This Amazon price was better then both stores, so I bought it on Amazon. The tape has a thin foam consistency, so it’s not real real thin, but thin enough and strong enough, to be used on jobs where there’s not much room for extremely thick Foam Double sided tape. I am very happy with this tape & would recommend for any double-sided tape job needed, inside or outside. Do not confuse this tape with “Mounting tape”, this is double-sided tape, used for applying things to the outside of a car or anywhere really. ... show more

    • If you are just trying to fix some but not all, read this!

So my wife had all 4 side trim pieces on her 2017 wagon starting to come off at the fronts but not all the way. This seemed like a logic fix. This adhesive is great if you intend on removing the entire piece and reinstalling it. I’m lazy. That wasn’t going to happen. So I pulled back the first piece of trim, took off s as much of the old factory adhesive as possible, cleaned the car, cut strips off this to fit, and adhered them leaving the red backing on before sticking it to the car per the directions.. terrible idea. If you do not intend on removing the entire piece.. do yourself a favor and remove the red backing first and try with all your might not to touch it. The backing is hard to get off in general let alone working in a 2-3” gap. Other then that.. works great. Would recommend regardless. ... show more

This tape did exactly what it was supposed to do. A wind shade on my car came loose on one corner and I ordered this product in hopes that it would take care of the problem. And after a couple of minutes, it did! I was surprised at just how strong one little strip of tape could be. It was very easy to apply and I was super pleased with the result. My wind shade is certainly not going to go anywhere now. One thing to note: the tape sticks so fast and so well, that if after you put it in place and then decide you want to reposition it, it’s very likely you will not get it unstuck without using some tools. ... show more
