I'm a full-time rv'er, and though the original flooring was foam and carpet (like used in houses), I couldn't go barefooted in colder weather due to the floor always being cold. I decided to ripe up the carpet and go with this. Let me say, this was the best thing I ever did to my rv! First, let me suggest to put the SILVER SIDE DOWN. Why? It's against the wood flooring (or cement slab) and reflects the cold (or heat) outwards / downwards without any of that air escaping inside. A great barrier. One roll was plenty for my 37 foot rv. I think this would be an excellent product for homeowners to put in the attic between the roof rafters (or on flooring of any type). Remember, silver side out to reflect the weather outward. It would reduce the heat in the attic during summer and have a cooler house. Vice versa for winter. At least that's what I would do if I chose to live in a house again. Think of the $$$ saved! I also silver taped the seams which I highly recommend. Easy to manipulate, could mark with my nails in places I needed to go around like the chairs and angels, and easy to cut with scissors. Presently, in my neck of the woods, it's 34° outside and a cozy 62° inside running only a radiant heater. Definitely ☆☆☆☆☆ 5 stars from me, highly recommend.

I used this product in a front room that used to be a porch where I have a carpet remnant. It seems to help the draft coming through the floorboards and carpet. I also used in a closet where the floor seems colder than the rest of the house. Anything to reduce drafts and control energy bills. I also used in under a few exposed radiators. I put it behind radiators (against the wall) that are covered to reflect heat. Not sure if it will great for that purpose but I had some left and it can't hurt to try. There was a strong odor but it went away. Very easy to use.

I am pleased with this product, I installed it under some new vinyl plank flooring. It was east to install, cut it to fit with a razor blade. I left it rolled out overnight to get some of the wrinkles out. It created enough padding for the flooring at a third of the price that the big box stores charge. Although it has an odor, it is not very bad, time will rid the smell. Definitely would buy it again it is worth the money.

The product was delivered quickly, and the moisture barrier rolled out and cut easily on the concrete that it was going to be placed on. I placed it in a room that has two exterior walls on a concrete slab. So far, it keeps in heat at night and it has been fairly cool (under 20F with a wind chill on top). It laid out nicely, and the laminate I put on top had no problem when putting together over the barrier

I live on the lowest floor in a 2 story condo, and in my closet is wooden boards where the AC lines are accessible from inside (I'm on the slab), and the foam barrier must have broken down because now I'm getting cold air in the closet and into the bed room and as a plus, mold. I used this after I caulked the wood to cover and insulate the carpet that is on top and its magic, works great. The neoprene with the reflector, allowed the carpet to slide right on top and the adhesive held on to the wood so it didn't slide around when making it look like it did. Noticeable change in the room. It was easy to lay down and cut with scissors. Can't give it more stars, that's how impressed I was with how easy it was to use.
