I installed this product on my roof to eliminate/reduce ice dams. This product worked for approximately 2 weeks, melting two smaller sized snowfall events with no issues. When we went into colder temperatures the thermostat obviously overheated (see pictures) and now it’s garbage! Thankfully it didn’t start a fire! All pre-install test were fine ie. proper voltage, making sure there we no overlaps during installation.

Great idea, buy 160 feet of heat trace and spend 3 hours with 3 people installing on exposed water piping. Neatly zip tie and lay out 160 feet back to the power source and plug in to protect new lines from freezing......product doesnt work. Not gets warm but temp was too cold. Literally nothing happens. Doesnt work at all. Power cord lights up, but not heat. Zero. None. Dont waste your money or your time.

I used this for a year round camp site I wrapped my water house in October when the weather started to get cold here it is December and waters frozen and no heat from the wire I had a feeling it wasn’t working the other day the water pressure dropped for a bit and came back I was think ice in the lines but now I know.

This did not work. By the time I found out it didn't the time limit to return it was up. I'll never b uy from this company again they rip you off and sell faulty merchandise. It not worth two cents.

Not going to return this because I can’t get it back in the box I don’t think you advertise that it can be wrapped around a pipe I could not work with it Plugged it in for a couple of hours - never heated up Wasted $ for me
