  • Great Starter Keyboard for Kids
This keyboard is a lot of fun and perfect for beginners. The 37 keys are a good size for small hands, and it feels responsive when pressed. I really like that it comes with so many tones and rhythms, which keeps practice interesting and creative. The built-in mic is a nice bonus and lets kids sing along while playing. The LED screen is clear and easy to read, so switching between functions is simple. I appreciate that it is rechargeable with a 1200mAh battery, so it doesn’t need constant new batteries. The demo songs are fun to play along with and give kids a sense of accomplishment. It’s lightweight but feels sturdy enough to handle regular use. The sound quality is better than I expected for a small electronic keyboard. It also has headphone output, which is great for quieter practice times. Overall, it encourages creativity and makes learning music enjoyable. This is a keyboard that kids can grow into while having a lot of fun along the way. ... show more

  • Impressive cordless keyboard!
This keyboard is a huge hit with my 2.5 year old grandson! He was visiting this weekend and played on it for over an hour. He normally has a pretty limited attention span, so I was shocked, but also so pleased! There are at least 20 different tone settings, a bunch of different demo tunes, and you can set various drum riffs for background beats. The sound is really impressive - no annoying trill and sounds authentic. It arrived charged and also comes with a microphone that stores neatly on the bottom inside the case. This is the perfect size for little ones and I know he's going to enjoy this for a long time, at least until he's 5 or 6. I really love that this is cordless and rechargeable. It is also surprisingly lightweight, but the keys are not jangly or loose and it feels well made. Since it doesn't have to be plugged in he can take it wherever he wants around the house or outside (sorry neighbors!!) You can also easily adjust the volume to save you sanity. Highly recommend! ... show more

  • for kids
My kid has recently been very interested in exploring music so I was happy to order this small keyboard for her. It has a lot of options, tons of different instruments and pre made music available, etc. It feels strong enough though its not going to feel like a professional quality. It's definitely more of a kids toy feel, perhaps a little bit better. The included microphone is terrible. it's very very weak and you basically have to put your mouth on it for it to really pick up your voice. Obviously i wouldnt expect a professional quality microphone with this small keyboard but a useable one would be nice. For the price I would have preferred a bluetooth connected microphone anyway. But for what it is its pretty good and if your kid is into playing with music its a good option that gives them a variety of ways to play. ... show more

  • Great beginner keyboard
Bought for my two littles age 6 and 4. This is a great kids beginner keyboard. It’s very lightweight, which makes it nice for tiny humans to carry around easily. It has a microphone because we all know they like to hear themselves sing, and it has a neat storage spot underneath the keyboard for that microphone. It has buttons on top for different songs and different beats, it has volume control, it has a port to plug-in headphones so they can play as much as they want without disturbing everyone else. It has a very good quality sound. This would be great for your early beginning musical child to see if they are interested in piano or just want to play around and enjoy the singing part of it. ... show more

  • Works, but interface is annoying
If you're going to give this keyboard to a child and just let them do whatever they want with it, it's fine. But if you want to try to use its functions -- learning music, transposing, changing sounds -- you will be annoyed. It doesn't remember the previous volume, and the default is very loud. The interface is not intuitive. You can't transpose more than 6 half-steps. The keys are either on or off, not sensitive to velocity. All that said, it seems to hold a charge for a long time. I like being able to charge with USB-C, rather than disposable batteries. The included microphone is nice. Again, if you're just going to hand it to a kid and let them play with it, it's perfectly fine. ... show more

  • works fine, not professional
I consider this better than a toy but not a quality professional instrument. My 11yo son enjoys fiddling with it. The buttons are labeled but the functionality is a little confusing to get the hang of since every button is multipurpose and every change requires several button clicks. The variety of sounds make it fun to explore. The recording feature is very limited and you can't layer multiple types of sounds on top of one another. It is compact and convenient to charge via USB-C. ... show more

  • A lackluster keyboard, with difficult to use controls, that isn't great for teaching
As someone who took piano lessons for over 10 years, I've been wanting to see if my son is interested in the piano. He's still quite young, but he's got a tiny toy keyboard before and I wanted to get him one with a few more keys and features. This 37 key piano has a lot of issues, i'm not sure where to start. * The power-on volume is too loud * Even at half volume, you can hear the speaker start to distort due to the low quality * The instrument sounds aren't realistic at all * The controls are confusing, there are 18 tones (instrument sounds), but only 6 numbered tone buttons. The same is true for the rhythms. To access the other ones, you have to use the "choice +/-" * I cannot imagine a child understanding the TEACH mode. * In TEACH, the keyboard displays the next key to play, by name, on the display. In order to actually follow along, you'd need to understand which key "A♭ 4" is. Even worse, its displayed on the equivalent of a calculator display so B looks like an 8. * In TEACH mode the keyboard will ask you to play notes outside of the range of the keyboard. Which gets you stuck. This keyboard just isn't a great value and is honestly a bit frustrating. I can't recommend it ... show more
