Used this kit on an old sears go kart frame. Kit is great a couple things that are not up to snuff are as follows: 1) terminal strip is junk 2) directions are sub par and the English in them is not the best, YouTube will be your best bet for trouble shooting. 3) for a kart there is not option for reverse so you will have to get creative and use the switch provided or make your own.     • Awesome kit
The kit is pretty awesome, some the connector wires don't make sense (eg. Light indicator and the two brake connectors). The most important thing to note is out of the box the motor rotation is clock wise, but if you want to switch direction, you can by changing the wiring. I found a YouTube video explaining what to do and it worked. ... show more

Wiring was not as straightforward as hoped for the tags on the controller were labeled but the accessories weren't labeled. I am putting it on a home made go kart. Just having trouble lining up the sprockets. Has no trouble getting up to speed with 200 lbs. Has been a fun project

Literally NONE of the wires match up / are the same color, as assembly demonstration in the video. Disappointed for the money I paid, "$215" I assumed it would come with instructions. It does not, and like I said the video to install.. Not one wire matches harness shown in video. 2 stars for the audacity of leaving customers to "figuring it out".
