This 365 100% recycled TP is the Goldilocks for me in that regard. It's soft enough to be comfortable but strong/grippy enough to actually get you CLEAN. (I find that overly soft TP does not "grip" waste properly when wiping and/or is too lint-y, but I also do want something that is soft on my bum. ) Plus, this product is much less likely to clog my toilet than a lot of other brands I've tried. I will say, though...if you've tried this and feel like it's not soft enough (again, I disagree, but to each their own), DON'T try their "sustainably soft" one. It's not good, nor is it sustainable. Instead, I would get the ARIA brand recycled bath tissue. I was shocked at how soft that one was; I'd never have known it was recycled. It was actually too soft for me (and pricier than the 365 one) but I did find it to be strong and get the job done. ARIA would be perfect for someone who wants to help the environment but feels like 7th Generation, Green Forest, and 365 100% Recycled aren't soft enough. You CAN keep us from destroying the boreal forests while still getting a Charmin-y experience! But for me, personally, the 365 Recycled TP is just the right level of comfort and functionality for a reasonable price (especially in the bulk pack). ... show more

Four stars because, yeah, it’s on the rougher side for sure. It’s somewhat stiff and not very soft. HOWEVER, I’ll continue to buy this product because it is bleach-free and chlorine- free.     • Great For Hoarding During a Pandemic!

Securing this TP allowed me piece of mind. I had 4 rolls and this 12 pack brought me up to 16. I own 4 corporate rentals and gave each tenant 2 rolls. Then found another 4 rolls hidden in a closet. Feeling secure I’ve given a roll to a neighbor. For over a month I’ve been held hostage in my 2nd home (Live in FL and VA ... learned I was exposed to virus in my DMV community that’s in the middle of a double cluster) the last week of February: had mild symptoms. Contacted my Dr and Dept Of Health told to assume I had it and stay at home😢: Two weeks later i felt fine but heard a MAJOR tp shortage in Central Florida where my primary home. Having 9 rolls I packed 6 but just told Florida is getting a major cluster so hunkering down in VA that’s done an amazing job socially distancing and have access to every kind of food via delivery that I’m much better in ARLINGTON that’s filled with amazing ppl. I was using name brand luxury tp for a while and had to get my 1960's house pipes snaked about once a year. This brand is definitely soft enough to use and disintegrates in water so easily that I haven't had to get my pipes snaked in years!
