There are solid brass connector interfaces at both ends, which have very good weather resistance.

The end that came on this was missing a rubber seal, therefore was no good. Leaked! You cannot find fittings for this brand cast pipe. Do not buy! Missed my window to return bc we didn’t hook up until after 30 days ans knew it was leaking. So I am out 67 from this and another 100$ from another purchase of a reputable brand ... show more

Great product, much easier to deal with that black pipe for gas lines. Be careful cutting to length and make sure to smooth the sharp edges so you don't compromise the rubber parts. Getting the fittings back together can be a bit of a pain but once you have everything in place and threads started it comes together nicely. ... show more

I was quoted $800 to have a gas line installed off an existing T and endcap. Instead, I purchased this and a few other items and was able to complete the job for $75. Stainless steel is a must, go with this product over lower cost aluminum.
