I got this for a class party at my son's school. The party was out on the playground, and as I was setting up for it, two other grades came out for recess. It was all I could do to keep those kids away from this set. Which is funny, because as I was planning the party with the other adults, they kind of gently suggested that the kids wouldn't be "into" the idea of building a fort. I just didn't believe that, so I got this set anyway, and I set it up. And it was the very first thing that the kids ran to when they came outside. I didn't want to say "I told you so," but. . . :-) I tried to get some pictures of the kids' creations, but there was never a moment when a child wasn't in or around the fort. That first picture was the best that I could do for pictures of what they built. Some of them thought outside the box and made atoms and batons and bats to hit balls. They really used their imagination with this set. It was awesome! The set itself is great. The poles have a bit of bend in them, which is great. The connectors were really well-made. And the balls were solid too. And they came in red, yellow, and blue. Once two pieces were attached, they held up well. The one thing that was not the best was the cover that came with it. It was literally just a thin piece of green plastic. The party was on a windy day, and it was frustrating the kids as they would try to put it over the top. So I ended up putting that back in the box. And speaking of the box--it said that no cover was included. But it was. So if you get this, look inside before you get too upset. We had a LOT of fun with this kit. I would recommend it.

This set is so much fun and my daughter loves building forts she can throw blankets over. She needs help with the building still since shes younger, but she can put parts of the set together by herself. You do have to put the connectors on every straw the first time you're building and that can take a bit longer. Nice that you can take this down and store it and it doesnt take up too much room.

The green tent top is a little laughable, you just like flop it on top when you’re done building. Initial setup is a little tedious, having to put the connectors on every straw. The stick material isn’t super strong, but your kid will bend them. Most of the things I built were combinations of squares and triangles, no other shapes, despite the number of holes in the ball. The rods are all one length, which limits your shapes and structural rigidity. They can be cut down to size, but it would have been nice to have various lengths of rod with maybe different colors.

Bought this for my nephew on his birthday, he loved to build blanket fort so thought this would be a good idea for him. He has been trying all the different patterns to it and making up some of his own. Could be a bit bigger but he has been having a blast with it creating and building.

My kids have always loved building forts and this kit makes it super easy to do so. Everything in one kit and inspiration on the box made it easy for them to build a quick fort without adult help. They were really proud to show off their final creation and have started coming up with new configurations. The pieces are sturdy and the fort held up through playtime.

I got this for my son but let the neighbor kid borrow it for a bit since my son is like 6 months old and can't walk. It's pretty easy to setup and is straightforward for kids to use it. The parts don't take too much space and it's cool to have a fort in the summer (we will see how winter holds up). Has been outside for a month now and the parts seem fine.
