We purchased the chain to hang stained glass pieces. It works great for this purpose. The gold plating on some of the chain's loops flaked off when they were opened and reclosed to attach the chain to the glasswork.

I got this to make my wind chimes. I gave it a slight pull and it snapped apart like a twig . I will stick to Bead landing which doesnt do that. Very cheaply made.

Exactly what I wanted for my stain glass sun catcher. Matches the black patina well. Size worked well on my a 4, 6 & 8" project. Also, the gunmetal colored rings matched well. The 8 to 10mm size rings seem like the right sizes, also bought off Amazon. ( Mandala Crafts Assorted Gunmetal Jump Rings Jewelry Findings Metal O Rings ). I couldn't find any at Menards/Homedepot that were the right color or size.

The color is pretty and it does look nice. However, It's flimsy & light-weight. The links have a separation that is a bit wide. My guess is that with a good tug they will come apart. I'm not sure how long the gold plated lasts as I have not used it enough or had it long enough to give an answer.
