This is a very good door. I bought it to replace a crawl space door on which the latch broke. The repairman who broke it did not tell me, so I only found out later. The original door was over ten years old and starting to rust and look generally dingy, so I figured why not replace it? This door fit perfectly, and the latch works just like the original. I didn't have to replace the frame, which was mounted to the foundation and wouldn't budge. I chose not to monkey around with the frame, fearing to do more damage than necessary and possibly cause a major headache for myself.
