At first glance, it seems to be a little on the cheap side. However, as I got to play in it, it does have a really good professional feel. The one issue I have with. It is that the notes don't seem to be quite perfect in tone. For the price point, it's definitely a bargain and would make a good beginners xylophone. I'm still experimenting with it in learning how to play It better. And hopefully one day I will upgrade do a more professional one. For now this will definitely do.

This is a really nice looking item. It doesn't come with the adjustable stand so keep that in mind. The main frame of it may be wood but the end pieces are plastic or something. The mallets are not good. It's okay, it's a good gift for a kid to practice on or play on but for the price it could be better quality. The sound is decent but nothing extraordinary.

It's a well-built instrument. The base is wood and plastic and the keys are metal. It sounds really good. It comes with a soft carrying case with an adjustable strap and two sets of mallets. The case is good. It easily fits the instrument and the mallets. It would be nice if there were a zippered section in the case for the mallets so they don't just flop around and bang into the instrument while moving/traveling etc. The strap clips seem very cheap. The clasp is loose and does not close all the way. It may come uncliped from the D-ring unintentionally. They don't seem like they will last long so I won't attach/remove the strap a lot. It does not come with a stand which is ok for now but I think I'll want one in the future. Overall it seems like a good glockenspiel and I've enjoyed playing it.

I ordered this for myself and my kids to play. My kids are taking piano lessons, so I thought this would be a fun additional instrument they could play. This set is decent quality. It has a wood frame. It also comes with two sets of mallets and a carrying case. It does not come with a stand. I already purchased another set of mallets as these are just plastic. It's a small size around 26" so it can easily be moved from room to room and also easily stored. It has 2.5 octaves so that covers most of what we would play. It's a lot of fun, and we enjoy it. Would be great for students learning percussion.

This is a xylophone with 32 keys. This musical instrument comes in a black zippered nylon bag. The bag is a bit flimsy, but holds the xylophone perfectly so I can't knock it. The bag has a strap to carry the xylophone. The plates are aluminum but sturdy. The set comes with two sets of "drum sticks". My daughter normally plays the trumpet, but she was able to ding out a few songs using some music she obtained online. It's fun to play.

It says wooden frame which isn't quite right since both ends of it are plastic. Still, it is well made and sturdy. Comes with a nice case and 2 sets of mallets, which is nice. The mallets you might want to replace with something different - I do not like those, too plasticky of a feel to it. The sound is pretty decent, only the higher keys, the smaller aluminum keys, are lacking. "Superior Sound" - sorry but no.

The media could not be loaded. Nice little glockenspiel / xylophone. The keys are made out of solid hunks of metal and produce a good sound. Each key is labeled with its corresponding note, so it makes it nice and easy to pick up and mess around with.
