This star unfolds and locks into place really well. We put it on top of our boat and, even with its light weight, it withstood winds that were so strong that there was a high wind warning for an entire day. No problem. It is really durable. It has a nice warm glow, not harsh white, but it still puts out a lot of light for a great look. It does not come with a remote control, but we didn't need it for our purpose. After Christmas we folded it up and stored it away in its original box. We will use it again and it is worth what we paid for it. It does not come with a timer. Instead, we hooked it up to an external timer along with our other lights.

The media could not be loaded. Long story short, we have a church steeple in our front yard. For Christmas we wanted to put lights around the steeple with a star on top. I purchased a few stars but had to return them for various reasons, but this was the lucky star that fit, and worked perfectly. Excellent quality and easy to install. I’m excited to use this every year with our Christmas lights.

This star was easy to assemble and looks great on our house for Christmas. I love the warm light it emits and it should be easy to disassemble for packing up and storing. Priced maybe slightly high, but I like it enough to order more and perhaps the larger one.

It does appear flimsy upon opening but put together is stronger. We got it for an old antenna not just to put on a wall. My husband attached to the antenna with duct tape and wire. First night up we had a heavy snow. It lasted! I snapped this picture fearing it may not make it much longer. Then we had winds with 30mph gusts. It still shone brightly. It has moved around but still shining. Size is great too! Know the picture isn't that great but hopefully it captures the size and brightness. Now, it's only been up a week but thought I should let others know before the season is gone. Definitely worth the money!
