The media could not be loaded. While there are a number of handheld consoles that come loaded with generic games these days, I set my expectations low given the price range for this item. However, I was filled with glee as I explored the games that come with this console. Even though I've never seen these particular titles before, they are well crafted and fun to play, just as if I walked into an arcade and started dropping quarters. The game system came in simple packaging and included a USB-C charge cable and a short manual. I was able to figure out basic operation without the manual, so nothing weird there. The manual also lists all the games that are built into the console. There is a door on the bottom for access to the rechargeable li-ion battery should it ever need to be replaced, but you shouldn't ever have to get in there for normal use. It appears to be very similar to a camera battery. There is a USB-C jack for easy charging using the included cable. Next to that is the manual volume control. There is no headphone jack. There are no card slots on this console, so you can't put any of your own content/games on here and you can't pull anything off. The screen is a nice brightness, not as bright as you could make your phone but plenty bright in any case. The clear part of the screen is plastic and could be prone to scratches. If that worries you simply leave the removable film over the screen. The film does not affect the brightness all that much. There is a Reset button at the bottom center of the screen, above the other buttons/controls. I accidentally pressed it out of curiosity but I don't think it is in the way of any regular game play, so just know that it's there. The device does not need any network or WiFi connection, it just works when you turn it on and makes it perfect for keeping a little one busy on a car or airplane trip. The console is VERY light weight. It's also compact and is perfect for purse or travel. All in all, given the price point, this is a perfect gift for any game lover whether they are adult or child.

This portable game player is better than expected in some ways, but also maybe too much of a good thing is not that good. Pros: it comes with a re-chargable lithium battery installed as well as the USB charging cable. In addition, there is a little instruction booklet that gives a one or two line description about each game, and it has a very large number of games installed on it. - and therein may be the problem. Cons- it has so many games, but not nearly enough information on any of them to comprehend the basic fundamentals of how to play them. It definitely could occupy a lot of time just trying to figure each one out. The 2.5" x 4" tiny instruction booklet touches on each one, but not nearly enough info there. This little handheld could occupy a child for a long time with all it offers to choose from, but without some additional instructions, it might also border on causing frustration. At least I think that would be a possibility.

Of all the mini game systems I own, I really like this one the most. It has a large display and the 32 bit graphics are very clear. It also has a thumbstick in addition to a traditional D-pad. This is a nice feature that I haven't seen in any other budget handheld system until now. And as far as variety goes, there are 139 games in total, which are sorted into several easy-to-search categories. I didn't recognize any of the titles, but this is a good thing since most of these units have the same repetitive list of games. I haven't went through all of them yet, but the ones I've tried so far are very well-designed and are definitely fun to play. Considering the overall quality, features, and fun factor, this is absolutely the best option in its price range.

I'm giving this 4 stars as you get quite a lot for $30 The reason I took a star off has to do with build quality and the games included. The joystick itself spins freely which can feel very awkward. The games included are all basically shovelware or games you'd see made at a 24hr code-a-thon. No depth and very basic rule sets. Holding start+select while powering on appears to give access to some sort of boot menu but I couldn't mess with anything there. Overall a good hand held for a toddler maybe, but I lost interest in it after about 10 minutes.

This is a great video game machine in terms of the generic video games that it comes with. These are the "no named brand" that are great and fun to play but are not the really popular ones. But in the world of generic video games, this does a great job. It must have a great processor to provide great response, clean video and an overall positive experience. And the case and build is very solid for kids to play and actually survive.

Oh wow , I had a little dance party to myself with the opening menu music, thumbs up selector. This is like feather-light which is super convenient for travel for yourself or a child. I already have a unit with All of the old school popular games so this is fun to explore, and I prefer to play around on it to relax versus my phone, sometimes you like simple where you can zone out, I don't need a super involved game if I go to play.. and it's nice to store in my coffee table too, as it's easy for anybody and something for my nephews to randomly explore when they come for a visit. It comes with it's own battery which I'd have to look up to replace, but you just charge the unit, so I don't plan to worry about that any time soon. This is a fun stocking stuffer for nearly anybody!

This handheld reminds me of the old Gameboy from the 90's. This hand held has games that are original and a few spin off's. The device has four major sections for games. Puzzles, Sports, Casual (a class of random games) and shooter. Each section has about 35-40 games. The controls feel good in your hand. The game charges up with a Type C connection. A really cool gift at a wonderful price. Good deal!
