    • An ok solution to visible cords, but there are some issues...
EDIT (July 9, 2019): I am nearly speechless. Ok, let me start by saying that I almost never revise reviews. I view it as I told the truth about my experience when I posted the review, so I don’t usually change things. However, I’m revising in this case because I was STUNNED to receive a replacement for these from the seller....without even asking for it! I mentioned in my review that I didn’t think there was anything to do about the defective pieces since I had used some in the pack already. I figured that would be that and it would be the end of things. However, the seller took it upon themselves to send me a replacement AND it included a handwritten note as well! I find it super honorable when companies fix problems. Not every company will work to make things right, and it’s even more rare for a company to do that without a customer asking. This company is amazing! I will definitely shop with this seller again, I’m so impressed. So....I was pretty excited to get these because I was wiring up some security cameras and really didn’t want to have to wire everything through all my walls. On the one hand, these are pretty good in terms of how they look and the general design. They do hide wire perfectly. I got a smaller set to hide speaker wires and single cords, and a larger set to handle multiple cords from my cameras and internet stuff. These look MUCH better than just having hooks to attach the wiring. The white blends right in with my baseboards, and I plan to paint the ones that are up on my walls to match the wall. Now, beyond that, and the reason I’m not rating this higher....several of these (and by several I mean about half of each box) had adhesion problems. This wasn’t actually due to the adhesive itself, and I did clean the walls properly before putting them up. The problem comes from the fact that some of the channels were slightly bent and couldn’t be straightened out to stick straight onto the wall. I realize that there is the capability to put these up with nails, but the whole point was to avoid more holes in the wall. So I’m not sure what to think about this, but I couldn’t immediately use all of them due to this defect. I also wasn’t really sure what to do about this because I had already put some up, so it’s not like there was the option for return just for the defective ones. So I don’t know. The other thing too is that the connectors didn’t all fit. This last thing wasn’t the biggest deal because I didn’t use a lot of the connectors, but it is a bigger deal that some of the channels refuse to lay flat.     • Very nice, but missing pieces. (see edit)
It is easy to use. Looks really nice and fits quite a few wires in with no problem. However, there was some missing pieces. It says it comes with 8 channels. Mine did not. It came with 6 full channels, 1 channel missing the slide in cover, and 1 full channel completely missing. So only 6 channels are completely there to use. I cannot use the 7th as it has no cover piece to slide on and cover the wires , and the 8th channel is completely missing. I am not sure if I got an open package with pieces missing or what. I have to remove a couple stars for this. Otherwise works well and looks nice. **EDIT** Changing from 3 star to 5 star because after seeing that there were some problems the company responded promptly (without my asking) with a letter of apology another package of cable covers and some free samples as a way to make amends for missing components. The letter was very sweet and polite and it was great to see that kind of customer support and satisfaction taken so seriously by a company. Definitely made me want to change my review accordingly. Follow-up review: The seller sent me a replacement cord cover cable box and a nice hand written letter. The replacement box contained what he/she called their “classic” type connectors. These connectors contain the classic L and T type connectors as well as regular joining connectors. I really appreciated the letter and the replacement box of “Classic” connectors. I hope they discontinue selling the “Smart” connectors as they are simply useless without modification. I hope the seller gives my suggestion serious consideration. Originally I gave a 1 star review. I have now edited it to reflect 4 stars as I am thankful for the seller making the effort to resolve the issue. Original review: Incredibly disappointed in finding that this product does not come with any premade corner, T-Piece, L-Piece, or Joining connectors for the raceway. What it does come with is what is called “Smart Connectors”. I believe the purchaser is supposed to somehow be able to transform the included “smart connectors” into corner, t-piece, L piece, and joining connectors. No verbal instructions on how to transform the smart connectors. Just a piece of paper with pictures of various connectors. They don’t simply snap off as I assumed you would be able to do. I don’t see any other way of modifying The smart connectors other than using some type of cutting tool like a hacksaw. If I had a bandsaw, I guess it would be that hard to cut, but even then... seriously? And even if you used a hacksaw, you would have unsightly jagged edges on the connectors. Ugh! So disappointed! I wish I could return it but the box it comes in is so small and the packaged pieces were precisely packed like a puzzle so that it would fit in the small box that I can’t figure out a way to piece it together. Very happy with the installation of the wire raceway. Just sheet rocked and painted the shop so having the wire from the lights hanging was not going to work. My outlet was between the 2 light fixtures so I pulled a string line across the end and measured to the plug, then marked the location for the raceway. Glad I didn't need the universal corner pieces, that would have made the cutting and assembly take longer. The adhesive is very strong so make sure of placement before applying. Lifesaver! I needed pendant lighting hung on a dropped ceiling, preferably without involving an electrician. Found these babies and some hooks meant for the dropped aluminum frame, ordered plug-in pendants and went to work. It’s PERFECT, easy to use, multiple configuration pieces included and easy to cut for shorter parts.
