I am very happy with this handlebar, the quality, service delivery by the seller and the improvement it brought to my cycling on a mountain bike. I am sitting more upright due to the higher handlebar, with the effect that my hands don't go numb anymore, my neck don't ache due to the forward leaning, I can now turn my neck to look backward for traffic with comford and I can see better due to a slight more upright riding position. I am 60 years old and this improved my riding. I am also partially handicapped in my legs, and therefore I cannot comfortly stand when pedalling. The wind resistance is slightly more, but the comfort in pedalling overcome this. My uphill riding also feel more confortable. Cycling is now much more fun. Style: 31.8-55mm Rise
First off I'll say I really like this inexpensive riser bar! It is made from 6061 aluminum and so is heavy walled to keep it strong, compared to a 7000 series aluminum bar. As others have said the inside diameter of this bar is small because the tubbing walls are so thick. That makes for a problem finding handlebar end caps small enough to fit into this bar. The only ends I had that would fit were my "ERGON" handlebar grip ends. That was OK for me, as the Ergon grips are excellent! The other way around this, of course, is if your handlebar grips are closed on the ends, then that will not be a problem since you won't use insert grip ends. I have to stress this: DO NOT use handlebar grips with the ends left open!! This is dangerous! In a fall, you could impale yourself with the open end of the handlebar!!! This is getting long but, also, we do put a nickel (5 cent piece) inside each closed end handlebar grip, so the handlebar can't push through the end of your handlebar grips, the nickel is the same size as the ends of your handlebars. The rise was awesome. Feels great. Sturdy. Straight. The painter marks for measuring are off center. I measured and marked it and it is perfectly centered, but the center logo is off center. The cut marks on the end are also different lengths. Do your own measuring and you should be fine.

My Ancheer electric mountain bike has a shorter wheelbase making the steering really twitchy!!! I also had to hunch over farther than I wanted!!! These handlebars were taller, longer and fit perfectly!!! It now handles amazingly better, taking the twich completely out!!! And, because of the extra height, I don't have to lean over a far!!! Making it more comfortable!!! Everything transferred to the handlebars and fit really nice!!! Overall, I would highly recommend getting these if you are having troubles with reach and steering!!! ... show more

I installed the 25.4/ 120mm on my bike what a difference in riding first of all no more pain in my shoulders from bending over and pressure on my shoulders no back pain riding upwards relieves the rubbing between your legs your not pushing back into the seat

I got the 120mm size of these bars to put on my Trek Verve-2, because the flat bars were killing my lower back. With the stock bars, I could barely stand to be on the bike for 15 minutes, but now it's no problem at all. It's funny what a few degrees of angle change to your spine can make.
