    • Flimsy but suction is pretty good. Chimney too short for 9ft ceiling. Find another! LEDs dimmed out!
Allocate about THREE HOURS to remove the sticky film used to protect the thin stainless steel. VERY time consuming to remove. NOT worth the hassle. Additionally, it HIDES any small dents in the metal which will become obvious after removing the film! The finish is terribly easy to smudge, so don't touch it! Flimsy, but suction is pretty good. Chimney too short for 9ft ceiling unless 3ft above stove is OK where someone 5ft tall won't be able to reach it. 22gauge sheet metal is TOO thin for this range hood. It hangs on the wall warped. Suction is good but pretty noisy on high. The LED lights are inadequate and only good for use as a night light! In addition, there is no diffuser so the LED light reflects off of cookware and back into the eyes. The LEDs create two spots on the stove and do not spread light over the stove surface to properly illuminate it. UPDATE: The control panel buttons have a VERY loud beep that send my dog running. No way to turn off annoying beeps! Here's the fix: Under the cover of the black control box on the control circuit board can be seen the noisy piezo buzzer. Take a 4mm screw and run it into the hole in the piezo. That will pop the cover and break off the piezo element; voila! Took unit off the wall and many of the screws holding it together are loose as a goose; causes parts to RATTLE. In addition, hood is assembled using pop rivets which have a tendency to work loose! The control box was loose and missing a screw. UPDATE: After only a few months, the LEDs that are SUPPOSED to light up the stove, but were pretty weak to begin with, are just about burned out and give off as much light as a night light; NOT GOOD. UPDATE AGAIN: Here is what you need for the LEDs; Armacost Lighting 223411 LED Puck Light, Bright White. Theses are almost a perfect fit and easy to wire in place of originals; VERY bright and 100 times better than original trash. Use the mounting ride on the inside of the rangehood so the two pieces of the Armacost light puck "clamp" in the original LED's mounting hole. In light of this discovery, I have upgraded to THREE stars. No higher because of the "issues" I had to deal with; hate that protective plastic crud! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Sexy hood vent. It matches the LG brand stainless steel appliances in my kitchen perfect. This is vented to the exterior. Suction pressure is great. No concern about the CFM, even for the amount of smoke I can make. I’m handy with tools and installed it alone. Thanks for shipping it so fast. Let’s start cooking. I love it! ... show more

Looks really nice and expensive. My only issue is on fan level 3 it is LOUD and rattles very badly. 1 and 2 are totally useable though. For the price, it is worth it.

It works great, it has a very strong suction. The only thing I didn't like is the loud noise it makes. Level one is loud, so level 2 and 3 are even louder.
