This is a very lovely sturdy piece of furniture. It is easy to assemble and can hold a decent amount of weight. Be aware that you might need bookends to use it as a bookcase. I love the color of the wood. It has a lovely open design. It appears to be made of high-quality material as well. Unfortunately, the product lost a star because of the amount of styrofoam used in packaging. Please be more mindful of the environment. Styrofoam pieces are a mess during decomposition and cause a lot of ecological damage!

Love it!! I just needed something simple for an out of the way shelf that could hold more than 15 pounds. I was surprised when I got this unit together. VERY sturdy! The wood with the black metal looks really sharp. I actually switched it out with another shelf I had, so this one is seen more.

This shelf really surprised me! It literally takes 15 minutes to assemble. The wooden shelves feel extremely strong. Im a pharmacy student and have tons of paper and textbooks. This thing can hold all my 400 pages textbooks with no problem. Personally, I left a printer on top and it doesn’t even wobble when I was printing. Really like this shelf and might buy one more for aesthetics.

Amazing shelves! I was reading reviews and comparing it to other similar one and decided to order this one. The item came early and well-protected with another box over the original one. After opening it everything is perfectly intact. Then I took everything out of the box and laid them on the floor. Everything is included and nothing is missing. The instruction is very detailed. All the hardware and boards are labeled, even though some label fell off on the part itself it is very easy to identify by looking at the instruction. Assembly is quick and easy. All the holes are precisely drilled and the boards align perfectly with frame. I finished the entire process within half an hour. It is now standing my living room strong and sturdy without being attached to the wall. The finished product is great! The board is very thick and construction is very sturdy and not excessively heavy. I can see it last for the years to come. For its price, this is an amazing deal.

I ordered this bookshelf based on the reviews and the fact that it looked easy to assemble. I am a med 60 year old woman that is not too savvy when it comes to putting things together. But I was able to use the easy to follow instructions and put this together in less than 30 minutes, by myself (minus the wall anchor. I haven't done that part.). The wood is very sturdy, and I am very pleased with this purchase. I may even buy another one at some point. I highly recommend!

Purchased for my art "studio" which was overflowing with reference books, paints, paper, sketchbooks, brushes etc. etc. etc. Amazing how a hobby can overtake your space and life. :-) It matches another shelf unit that I bought from another retailer and I was pleased to find it on Amazon. Easy to assemble and it is very steady sitting on carpet. Exactly what I needed.

The finish of the wood looks really nice. Considering the price, I thought it is going to be a cheap one. But the quality actually shock me. The top board, even though it's not real wood, holds my tv really well. It doesn't take too much time to put together, but it still is a tv stand. Took me and my brother an hour to finish. It seems like it would last for quite of a long time. Love it a lot! Very sturdy and looks great. The simple design doesn't look cheap at all. It fits right in the gap between my couch and the wall. Take no time to put it up. I'm considering to get the matching side table

This unit was a lot heavier than I expected it to be which is a definite plus! It was very easy to put together by myself. I used it to put a bunch of plants on that I had to bring in for the colder months. They are in ceramic pots and the shelves hold the weight with no problem.
